Making parts for dad’s 46 Chevy pickup. Needed to add a section to the frame boxing plate So I can put a heim there for the steering shaft. Cutting 1/4” plate (cause that’s all he had) with a sawzall (cause that’s the best tool he had for the job), on a tiny harbor freight welding table (because there’s no work bench here), in a garage that was actually turned into another room of the house 32 years ago and almost sorta turned back into a garage to build this truck. All because we decided to tear the stock front end out to install a MII two weeks before #lonestarroundup2018 , then the parts didn’t show up until the week before the ‘roundup. #saturdayfunwithdad #saturdaysarefortheboys #screwusingtherighttools #letsbuildahotrod by @wolfy_713

My grinder has a major attitude problem this morning. It took a wire wheel to the end of my thumb. #mygrinderisanassholetoday #aintgonnaruinmybestweekinalongtimethough by @wolfy_713

Little work from last week before headed out to #lsru2018 . Hoped to have dad’s 46 Chevy pickup back together after the MII install, life happened, and it didn’t make it, but we did and still had a great time. I also thought this was a cool pic caught of one of my @mfurick #fupa12 cups attached to my @ahpwelders #alphatig200x while sporting some @ultragtaw gear from Brett @focusonthearc . by @wolfy_713

Local welding supply (that sucks anyways), was closed Friday and Saturday this weekend, and I had an emergency need for some 3/32 ER70. This is what I found at Harbor Freight. Somebody tell me what’s wrong with this picture...
