POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So, on Friday 11th, I take to the stage with @terbiumband at the @theshipinngillingham. No doubt photos of me looking bored to death will be circulated shortly thereafter.

Come along for a heckle. I'm a good sport. We're on shortly before 8pm. We may even play a song you can nod your head to as well.

It's a great lineup with 3 other fantastic bands who are well worth seeing as well.

Today's job. Just going to pop the neck on and see how it is before the crazy modding starts.

Like Tool? Porcupine Tree? You'll like this.

As a shameless plug, my band's (@terbiumband) new single is out today.

Amazingly enough, I'm tolerated to play bass and I produced too.

Have a listen.

Recording some remote bass today. What can be better than a bass with a double @lusithandevices preamp? Triple Lusithand! I was using the Ground and Pound pedal first in the chain just for a bit of grit. So, all fun.

Started recording some new stuff for @terbiumband today. All fun as long as you don't count.

Last night was good fun playing with @elynband

I have possibly now got a few photos where I actually look not bad on stage. Whether this is down to either one of Nayab of @slashstreetphotography being a genius and/or the fact that I have one of the most outrageous looking basses ever made by @graingerguitars remains to be seen.

I still look as bored as I always do, but maybe just a bit better decorated this time.

Giving this monster its first run out tonight with @elynband at the @hopeandanchorlive in Islington. If you can make it, there are still a few tickets left on the door.

Today, I'm recording some new @elynband material with my fantastic @grainger_guitar_parts Hades. A veritable beast of a bass. Played in stereo through a line 6 HX Stomp into a @gallienkrueger Fursion 1200s it's just monstrous.

There is new material in the can for release soon and the stuff I'm doing today won't come out until autumn.

As a shameless plug, if you're in London, pop along to our gig at the @hopeandanchorlive on 26th June!

A while back I bought a @klosguitar graphite neck and put it on a @warmothguitar G4 body with some Herrick multicoil pickups and a @lusithandevices DFP filter preamp.

So, how does it sound? Surprisingly brutal. Is that surprising since I'm playing it? Probably not.

Shameless plug! Yesterday, the new @elynband single was released. Naturally, yours truly is playing bass. As an aside, yes, I also produced it at my studio @eraxsound.

A bit of a departure for us in terms of somewhat richer sounds and overall less loud per se. Link in the comments.

Have a listen!

Now, here we go for some fun. An @alembicguitars Series 1 from 1976. Although I've had it for a while and have recorded with it a lot, both for myself and other people, it's never really found a project I'm in as both @elynband and @terbiumband have very defined sonic characters.

That has now changed and some brutal stereo bass will be incoming in a couple of months as I've been kindly invited to playing an upcoming gig in a few months for a project in which I can get away with it.
