Trivia Question: @stanwawrinka85 Tattoo

Who knows what is tattooed on Stan Wawrinka’s left forearm?

It is a quote from the Irish poet Samuel Beckett and it says:

Every tried. Ever failed. No matter.
Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

That is what the arena is about for our student athletes. The chance to fail forward. The chance to try, to fail, to improve. To try, to fail, to improve. To get 1% better each day they’re on the court. That’s how they achieve success.

Resonating with my why on National Coaches Day
Remember why we do this! Grateful for the opportunity to pour into our players every day!
My Why:
To provide transformative experiences for the next generation of @sidwellfriends student athletes, so that they develop the self confidence, resilience, and poise to perform under pressure to set them up to achieve success in the next chapter of their lives, regardless of the arena in which them find themselves - be it the tennis court, the classroom, the courtroom, the operating room, or the board room. #WeMove #CarpeDiem

Salamander Middleburg is where refined hospitality meets an unforgettable family experience. Between horseback rides, tennis, poolside afternoons, and leisurely evenings in the room, every detail invited us to settle in and savor the moment. We can’t wait to experience it again this fall. #BySalamander taken in Salamander Middleburg by @wolverinewest
