And the world said,
“That’s just how it is.”

But the child said,
“That’s not how it feels.”

My first memory is of a lucid dream, a dream in which you’re aware that you’re dreaming.

Conscious Dreaming is my most foundational personal practice, one I’ve intentionally developed for over 25 years. It blends western lucid dreaming techniques with eastern wisdom traditions such as Tibetan Sleep and Dream Yoga, woven together with ongoing study and research on sleep and consciousness anchored in neuroscience. This isn’t some special ability. It’s something anyone can learn.

It has been a source of profound joy, empowerment, healing, inspiration, and insight. Through this practice I learned to speak directly with my subconscious, to move through fear and loss, and to experience reality as negotiable by achieving what’s impossible outside of the constrictions of waking life and, in doing so, fundamentally rewiring my perspective and deconstructing my habitual mind creating new neural pathways to inner knowledge and pure creativity and potential.

Most people have experienced lucidity at least once, even if they don’t remember. But with practice, you can learn to gain control in a space where none of the rules and constraints of the waking world apply.

I work 1:1 with people who want to explore their dreams, consciousness, and the edges of what’s possible. → Link in bio

In Hindu mythology the Hamsa (swan) is the vahana (mount or vehicle) of Brahma the Creator and a form the god once took to fly over the cosmic waters searching for a place to create the universe.

The swan is said to be the only creature that is capable of separating milk from water once they have been mixed, symbolizing the ability to discern truth from illusion and extract pure knowledge.

The swan is a representation of transformation, the cycle of life and death and transcendence.

A fully realized soul is referred to as “Paramahamsa” literally meaning “Supreme Swan” 🦢🌀 taken in Kyoto, Japan by @wolvesinspace

Kafka vehemently refused to allow an illustration of the creature on the cover of The Metamorphosis but I always pictured Gregor Samsa as a beetle 🪲

Fun fact: Beetles pollinate magnolia trees because magnolia trees evolved before bees and beetles evolved before dinosaurs 🐝 🦕 taken in Chiang Mai, Thailand by @wolvesinspace
