Fixed this pot with a lot of love, care, and gorilla glue (and the support of a dremel to smooth down edges of the ceramic). This pot is one of my favorites, and was my first big gardening purchase when I moved to Santa Rosa in 2017. When I moved back to the east coast, I had a friend mail me some of my pots. Unfortunately, this gorgeous planter was broken when it arrived. Thankfully, I was able to fix it!! 3 succulent friends now live in this gorgeous, colorful home! Desiree is a String of Dolphins, Alonzo is an Aloe, & Beanie is a Happy Bean.

Vania, Vanessa, Van, Will and Jen are all succulents from @van_wilgen in Branford. They originally lived together in a concrete home, but now have been moved to this gorgeous hand painted pot where they have more room to grow (the concrete homes are a great idea though, and will certainly be reused for new plants & propagations). They love their new view and that they are next door neighbors to other succulents and some newly planted bonsai. They have other friends that came home from Van Wilgens, and those friends are also happily adjusting to their new pots. Those friends will be introduced soon 😊

Penny Nubi is the latest plant to join the family. She is from Pennsylvania and was purchased for (shockingly) less than $5! Penny now lives with a variety of other plant friends. She likes to be near books and have a good view out the window. She isn’t fully sure what she is, but she thinks she’s a dwarf schefflera!

Aloeise is the cutest little aloe! She is from Star Market in MA and is loving her mama elephant home. She hopes a new friend will move into the baby elephant pot soon! Before moving into her now home, Aloeise had very dry soil and a small pot. The guy at checkout was convinced she wouldn’t make it, but I have faith that she’ll bounce back!

Franny was adopted in PA and given as a gift to my mom. She was originally planted in a San Francisco mug from the city. Currently, Fran is living in a chic, modern white home. She has been able to grow a lot in the past year due to the extra space in her new home. Fran loved living in the SF mug, but is happy that the humans in her life can now use it for tea and coffee.
