Every woman who has ever braided her hair knows how long it takes.
@yinkabel built a device that makes the process significantly faster.
Apart from co-founding @halobraid, she also created the #sloroller for people who love barbecue.
We love a woman who keeps creating 💜

Read this if your business is the type that customers rush during the holiday period. You don't necessarily need to miss out on last minute orders, but you definitely don't need to burn yourself out just to please customers. A good plan beforehand will definitely make things easier for you as a business owner every holiday period.

How would you handle this situation? Let us know in the comments 👇 by @womenmakerseries

If you price your products based on emotion, your business bank account will always stay empty.

When you start from scratch or try to monetise your talent, your immediate instinct is to look at what you think people can afford, or what feels "fair" to charge your friends and family.

But your feelings do not pay for your electricity, your fuel, your delivery logistics, or your raw materials.
When you undercharge out of pricing anxiety, you aren't running a sustainable business, you are just funding an expensive, exhausting hobby.

To fix your pricing before the festive rush, your calculation must include:
1. The Raw Material Cost: Every nylon, box, label, and ingredient.
2. Your Labor Rate: You must pay yourself an hourly or per-item wage for making it.
3. The Business Margin: A percentage left over inside the business account so you can restock without touching your personal feeding money.

Stop letting fear dictate your value. Your talent is worth paying premium prices for.

Let’s do an honest audit in the comments right now. Which of these sounds most like you?
A) I just guess my prices based on what competitors charge.
B) I feel guilty charging people what my product actually costs to make.
C) I have no idea how to calculate my actual profit margins.

Drop your letter (A, B, or C) below, and let’s talk! 👇

(And make sure to hit follow button. We are breaking down the exact formulas to fix your business backend every single week!)

A little peek into the Canva for Business Workshop! 🧡✨

I recently had the opportunity in August to facilitate a Canva for Business workshop for an amazing community @eirinicreatives as a Canva Ambassador and Canva Expert, and it was such a fulfilling experience!

One thing I love about teaching Canva is showing people that design doesn’t have to be complicated. With the right tools, knowledge, and a little creativity, you can create visuals that communicate your ideas and elevate your business.

During the workshop, we explored practical ways to use Canva for business, got hands-on with design, and turned what we learned into actual creations. 🎨

And the best part? Seeing the creativity come to life and hearing what participants took away from the experience!

I’m grateful for the invitation to share my knowledge and for everyone who showed up ready to learn and create. 🧡 @eirinicreatives @wynokpapi @womenmakerseries

Swipe through for some highlights, participant feedback, and a look at what we created! 👉

📩 Looking to host a Canva workshop for your community, team, or organization? I’d love to collaborate. Let’s make it happen!

Running a business is already tough. Doing it while working a full-time job makes it even harder.

We asked our community what the biggest challenge is in this situation, and this was the top response.

If you also run a business alongside a full-time job, how do you manage it?
