Shakir was spending hours every week on leads that were never going to convert. Not because he wasn’t working hard enough. Because there was no system to filter them out before they wasted everyone’s time.

Four Angels Enterprise is a Black owned financial institution in Ohio specializing in no personal guarantee business funding — was collecting documents from people who weren’t even eligible for their funding.

So I built them a lead qualification funnel in Go High Level.
Leads now go through a prequalification page first. The system scores their fundability automatically. If they don’t qualify they get disqualified before they ever reach the document submission stage.

You are not your user.

Let that sink in for a second.

As a corporate UX designer and developer for over a decade, the #1 mistake I saw companies make—and the one I see 6 and 7-figure entrepreneurs make today—is building a product, website, or funnel for themselves.

They map out workflows, design landing pages, and launch systems based on what they like.

But here’s the reality: you aren’t the one buying it. You aren’t the one trying to navigate the checkout process at 11 PM on a Tuesday. Your customer is.

Most small businesses are sitting on a goldmine of customer data and don’t even know it.

Names. Emails. Purchase history. Behavior patterns. Preferences.

All of that is yours. Or at least it should be.

I told @him500 I built for @dshands …

he pulled out his phone and texted him right there to verify.

No warning.

A few minutes later he turns the phone to me:

“Yeah man, she’s good for sure.”

That moment reminded me…

You’re only as strong as your work and the people who can vouch for it.

A lot of 6 and 7 figure businesses are still running on messy systems:
