If your kids want one of those wooden surfboards signed by the characters at Aulani… READ THIS. 👀🏄‍♀️ We saw the surfboards at Aulani for $40 EACH. But at the store right across the street, I found almost the exact same surfboards for 2 for $28! 🤯 The only difference I could see? The Aulani ones say “Aulani” on them. $52 saved = more shaved ice. Want more Aulani tips like this? Download my “Aulani without the Overwhelm” guide. I share all my favorite tips and tricks! Link in bio! I thought a traditional tea ceremony would be one of the most boring things we did in Japan… and WOW, was I wrong. 🍵 Comment TEA and I’ll send you the details of the exact experience we booked! ✈️ Follow @wonder.with.wander for more unforgettable travel experiences, hidden gems, and tips to help you plan your next adventure! #KyotoJapan #JapanTravelTips #KyotoTravel #JapanItinerary #Kyoto by @wonder.with.wander
He married me for better or worse… apparently that includes questionable hiking trails. Some people plan relaxing vacations. I plan adventures that require a waiver. 📍 Havasupai, Arizona — home to some of the most breathtaking waterfalls we’ve ever seen! Be honest… is this your dream vacation or your worst nightmare? ✨ Follow @wonder.with.wander for unforgettable adventures, bucket-list destinations, and occasionally questionable vacation decisions! #Havasupai #HavasuFalls #AdventureTravel #HikingAdventures #CouplesWhoTravel by @wonder.with.wander
Machu Picchu might be the reason you visit Peru, but it’s experiences like THIS that make the trip unforgettable! 🇵🇪🐹 While exploring the Sacred Valley, we stopped at a traditional chichería, a small, local spot where people gather to enjoy chicha (a fermented corn drink) and traditional foods. We even got to learn about cuy (guinea pig!), a traditional Andean dish. Definitely not something you see every day back home! This is one of my favorite things about traveling. Getting off the beaten path, experiencing different cultures, and discovering traditions that make each destination so unique. 🌎❤️ Be honest… would you try cuy? 👀 ✨ Follow @wonder.with.wander for unforgettable experiences, hidden gems, and travel inspiration beyond the typical tourist stops! #PeruTravel #SacredValleyPeru #VisitPeru #CulturalTravel #TravelInspiration by @wonder.with.wander
We made one mistake at Disney’s Aulani that I wish we could take back! We spotted Goofy on the character schedule but decided to skip meeting him because we figured we’d catch him the next day. Plot twist: Goofy wasn’t on the schedule the next day. Lesson learned! Character appearances rotate at Aulani, so if you see a favorite, don’t assume you’ll have another chance to meet them! I learned SO much during our family trip, including some money-saving tricks and little details I wish I’d known before we arrived. I put it all into my 16-page Aulani planning guide to help you make the most of your vacation! Comment AULANI and I’ll send you the link to my $10 guide! I’ll happily be a tourist. That’s literally why I traveled halfway around the world. The famous landmarks, the popular attractions, the iconic experiences… I want to see ALL of it! Sure, I love finding hidden gems, but some places are popular for a reason. And I’m not about to skip an incredible experience just because it’s considered “touristy.” Anyone else proudly on team tourist? Going to Hiroshima? Add this to your food bucket list! You HAVE to try Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki! Layers of cabbage, noodles, egg, and savory goodness cooked right in front of you on a sizzling grill. 📍 Mitchan Sohonten, located on the first floor of Hiroshima Orizuru Tower, right near the Atomic Bomb Dome. Watching them make it was half the experience! 📌 Save this for your Japan itinerary and follow @wonder.with.wander for more travel tips and unforgettable experiences! #Hiroshima #JapanTravel #Okonomiyaki #JapanFood #HiroshimaJapan by @wonder.with.wander
