🌷💜Sometimes it can be difficult to see how God is working in your life. You may want things to go one way and they end up going in a completely different direction. In these tough moments it may be hard to see what God is doing. You may feel defeated and hopeless, but the truth is that God’s plan for you is so much greater than any plan you could ever create on your own! Isaiah 43:19 puts it beautifully, the Lord says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Although we may not understand why God isn’t leading us where we want to go, we can have faith in Him because of this verse. He tells us that he is working all things for our good and making a perfect way for our lives. We need to trust that His way is greater than ours and decide to surrender our own plans to him!🩷☀️ by @wonderfullyyhis

What do you think love is? In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, the Bible tells us the true meaning of love. It says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” The BEST love of all time was when Jesus died on the cross to save our sins! This gave us a chance to have a personal relationship with God and allowed us to get to spend eternity with Him in heaven!🩷🩷 by @wonderfullyyhis

In Matthew 10, Jesus is sending out the twelve disciples and in verse 5 and 6 he says, “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter a town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.” It’s so cool how Jesus specifically tells the disciples to go after the lost because he knows they are truly the ones who need help. God calls us to do the same. What good would it do if we were to only spread the good news of Jesus to those who are already saved? Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to spread the news to people who do already know Jesus but if we didn’t tell the ones who didn’t know Him, it wouldn’t give everyone else the opportunity to learn about Jesus and develop a personal relationship with him. Some people may refuse to believe and sometimes that can be frustrating as a follower of Jesus. This is okay though! You can just continue to show them Jesus’ love through your actions and pray that they will one day accept Jesus into their heart. Jesus left the 99 sheep for the 1 lost one. This shows Jesus’ loving, kind, patient character and we are called to be like this also!🩷 by @wonderfullyyhis

Let’s be real, Godly friendships can be hard to find! You may be thinking, I have some friends that call themselves Christians but are they really? Sometimes it can be hard to tell if someone really loves Jesus or if they just say they do for attention or to fit in. By watching how your friends treat others and seeing what they prioritize in their lives, you can tell if their life is centered around Jesus. If they always have a negative attitude, often try to bring others down, and purposely continue to choose to disobey God, they probably aren’t the kind of friends you’re looking for. Godly friends put Jesus first in their life and genuinely show His love to those around them. These people will stand out from the rest because you can see God working through them! These friends build you up and are always there to listen to you. They help you grow in your relationship with Jesus and bring you closer to him by lovingly calling you out on the things you are doing that aren’t glorifying to Him. You should also do this for your friends when they are headed towards worldly things instead of God centered things. If you have friends who are pushing you away from Jesus, we pray that they will find the Lord! Also we pray that if you don’t have any Godly friends right now, you will find some friends that continue to push you closer to Jesus more and more everyday! Always remember though, you are never alone and God is closer like no other. by @wonderfullyyhis

Where do you find your identity?

In the world we live in today it’s so easy to get distracted by the things of this world and think we aren’t enough.

Maybe you think you’re not pretty enough or smart enough. Maybe you don’t have a ton of money or all the newest trendy clothes that you see everyone else wearing.

While these things seem really important to us here on Earth, they will mean nothing in heaven.

Matthew 24:35 says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.” God is telling us that the earth, the heavens, and everything in it will pass away but his Word will not.

So instead of putting our identity in worldly things that will not last, we should believe we are who God says we are.

His Word lasts forever and never changes! He created us in his image and died on the cross to save us from our sins. Isn’t that so amazing!

He didn’t have to die on the cross for any of us but he chose to die for all of us because he loved us so much!💜 by @wonderfullyyhis

•In Matthew 5:14, Jesus tells us that we are to be the light of the world!💡💗

•Verse 16 goes on to say let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven!

•We are called to be a light to the world, not for ourselves, but to show others who Jesus is! 🩵

•It is so easy to get caught up in worldly things and forget our main purpose. This verse reminds us that we are to shine Jesus’ light to others and they will be able to see Him through us. by @wonderfullyyhis
