Avcon Day 2 - I donned the Nordic Carved Skyrim armor, and I have to say, Day was an absolute blast. Sure, I may have been wearing furs and a quilt, and sure, I was sweltering at every moment. But the fact that so many people had appreciated the shield for this costume filled me with joy given the hours going into its just a shame I made it a right handed shield that was intended for my left.

I also manned the @cos.play.club table and had the honour of promoting our lovely community to passers-by. So if we had a conversation yesterday and you were interested in what Cosplay Club has to offer, or you were intrigued about the upcoming Fantasy Ball event that is planned. All I can say is W E L C O M E!

Let's not bicker and argue over whom killed whom, this is supposed to be a happy occasion at @teamavcon . I don't want to think of this as so much as losing @cosplay_pegasus1996 , but rather, gained a handsome Legion skirt boy in @haxo_courier .

Also , this is the third time the @vault_613 stall was built, the previous two fell over and sank into the swamp.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
Meet @wonderkindman

I’ve been cosplaying casually on and off for about 13 years, starting out with bought Naruto cosplays before slowly finding my way into more hands-on builds. Fallout pulled me in with its themes around greed and capitalism, the eerie tone of the earlier games, and the wacky, western cowboy energy of New Vegas — which absolutely led to me practising revolver tricks with toy guns while replaying NV and watching the Dollars trilogy.
I started working on an NCR cosplay back in 2020 and kept revisiting it, tweaking and rebuilding parts until I was finally happy (and honestly, I’m still tempted to redo pieces). Along the way I’ve built two sets of T-45 power armour and worn three different Vault Suits. Most recently, I’ve soft-launched an NCR Trooper cosplay alongside our buddy @cosplay_pegasus1996
For me, cosplay is first and foremost a creative outlet, and second a way to connect with the community. Getting lost in a build and zoning out feels like stepping into a mind palace — that’s the magic I keep coming back to
