Amazing day at Twisted Oaks for the Melon Optics social ride. Always great vibes with the crew and Twisted Oaks never fails to mean progression. Both boys feeling at home on their new bikes. Charlie was really happy to hit 8 pack, chucking in one-footers! Great photos by @benlister_photography , even getting a shot of mum and dad having fun!

An inset day trip to @rampworldcardiff last week was epic, Charlie was keen to try as many tricks as possible - it really is a shame there isn’t something like this here in the South.

He ended up doing;

Tuck no hander
Tyre grap
T-bog

It was super busy with two races - rd 2 of nationals at Antur and rd 1 of Pearce with a 3rd and 1st so amazing results for @mai.woodman 🤩👌 her hard work is paying off 💪
Huge thanks to @lucaspilling06 for helping at Antur! And @rob.pilling.33 @rubypilling74 for letting us hang out in your pits 🫶

Two trips to @oakstwisted first with the @melonoptics crew at the start of the month and again in half term. Both in glorious sunny and windy conditions which meant some lines weren’t rideable sadly but always so much fun!

Local rides with pizza @hurtwood_hideout on a Friday evening and also two new rear wheels built up one each for mai and Charlie cheers @mbcyclery @alfie___davies and a very annoying wheel blow out coming back from MB 🤦🏼‍♀️😬

If anyone wants to sponsor Mai/us for wheels that would be amazing 😂👌 especially with fort William coming up in September 😳🤪

Always thankful for the people and the community around mtb - we are super lucky to have amazing support whether that’s at races or riding.

Big shout out to @average_potato90 always so helpful and encouraging and @jameswyattt1 cheers for the DMR goodies after a stack at @s4pb1kepark he’ll get Main line nailed soon I’m sure!

Coming up this month Pearce rd 2, then July is @hurtwood_enduro and National champs @revolutionbp before the summer pilgrimage to the usual with the best @atlasrideco taken in Dorking by @woodmanmtb

Rogate Root 1 race was a banger!

Charlie and Jude both raced.
Charlie was in a juvenile boys 13-14 having turned 13 in Feb so we knew it was a tough category with 55 racing!
Jude was in rippers 8-12 with 30.

Both had good first runs;
Charlie getting a 1.11
Jude 1.33
Charlie then hit the gap up the top getting a 1.07 placing him in 16th.
Jude had a sketchy moment at the bottom costing some time not going any quicker and finishing in 28th.
Cheers to @rocksteadysambo and the team @rogatedh_b1kepark for a fab race as usual!
