Let’s See! Nosferatu
-My Thoughts Below-

If we are to overcome darkness we must first acknowledge it exists.

Director: Robert Eggers

Stars: Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Bill Skarsgård, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe.

Definitely had my hamburger toothpick ready during this movie, just Incase I needed to stake a heart. Be ready for some intense scenes.

As a remake the 1922 film, it starts with a tribute to the original with a black and white opening scene and keeps that tribute going through the whole film. They switch back and forth pulling you back in to the world of color seamlessly. It’s always nice to see the respect to the originals. I may see this one again.

Bill Skarsgård of course plays The Count, the deceiver, Nosferatu and does well embodying Max Schreck , of the original film.

Lily-Rose Depp wow, wonderful job. Definitely reminds you of her dad, with the acting and looks. She does have her father’s eyes.

I’m reminded of humans past beliefs on old, like health care along with superstitions. My how we have grown as humans. Or maybe not.

All that reminded me of: John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

And don’t forget about the Previews
