I’ve noticed so many new faces here over the past few days, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you for being here 🤍

It truly means so much to me that you spend a little part of your day in my cozy knitting corner.

So maybe it’s a good moment to introduce myself a little better.

🍀 My name is Anna, and I’m originally from Ukraine. Until the war started, I lived in a small village near Kyiv. Now my home is in Canada, but knitting has been part of my life long before this new chapter began — and over the years it slowly grew from a hobby into something much bigger and deeply meaningful to me.

🍀 Before WoollyWood, I spent 15 years working as a lawyer — quite different from yarn and knitting needles 😊 But creativity was always living somewhere inside me, waiting for its moment.

🍀 WoollyWood is truly a piece of my heart. I love knitting, designing, and helping people feel confident and inspired in their own knitting journey. Nothing makes me happier than seeing your beautiful projects and hearing that my patterns brought you joy.

🍀 Outside of knitting, I love gardening so much. Growing vegetables and flowers always felt deeply calming and meaningful to me. Nature inspires many of my designs — forests, seasons, little details from walks and hikes, and changing colors.

🍀 I also love learning new things. Right now I’m learning piano (slowly but happily 🎹), and languages just for fun. I speak Ukrainian, English, and French, know a little Spanish, and recently started learning Italian.

🍀 I enjoy hiking, traveling, and discovering new places — so far, I’ve visited around 20 countries, and I hope there will be many more adventures ahead.

🍀 Some of you may also know that I’m part of the amazing team at @threadandmaple which has been such a lovely experience for me.

And a few little dreams I carry with me:
✨ publish my own knitting book someday
✨ walk one of the Camino de Santiago routes
✨ keep building a warm and supportive knitting community here

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share some news with you all - I'll be part of the amazing collection "52 Weeks of Socks, Vol.2" @laine_magazine ! It's a fantastic project that features 53 unique sock patterns from different designers around the world.

I feel incredibly honored to be included in this collection alongside so many talented designers. It's been such a joy to work on, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share it with you all.

Thank you so much for your support and for following my creative journey. I can't wait for you to see what I've been working on!

One of my favourite parts of releasing a new pattern is seeing how it turns out in other knitters’ hands ❤️

Cabin Season Socks are here! 🍂

I’ve been looking forward to sharing these with you 🍁🍂☺️

These socks were inspired by cozy cabin days and quilt patterns, with a small colorwork section around the leg. It’s simple enough to be a nice introduction to colorwork, but still fun if you already enjoy knitting with two colors.

The rest of the sock is kept nice and simple, with a classic cuff-down construction and adjustable leg and foot length.

The socks are knit with Stormy Superwash Sock from @purlsoho, which Purl Soho kindly gifted to me for this design. I really enjoyed working with it — especially for the colorwork, where the stitch definition makes the little motifs stand out beautifully.

The pattern comes in four sizes and includes written instructions, a colorwork chart, and a video tutorial.

And because it’s Socktober, there’s 20% off through October 12 with code CABIN20 🧶
