We are super proud of Arthur, one of our apprentices now in his second year, for winning the 2026/7 Diffey Award.
Presented at the recent Goodwood Revival by Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of the RAC Club & Sarah Adams-Diffey, Award Patron outside the famous Tyrell Shed.
Arthur beat stiff competition from a very strong group of apprentice applicants to land this prestigious award.

Burning the midnight oil….

It’s now a HUGE push to get this car stripped back down, fix the last bits of rust work, and get her built back up for the NEC National Classic Car Show in only 6 WEEKS!!!!!!

Every waking hour from now till then is a focused on this car… fingers crossed we can get it done 😬🤞🏻

Now the work starts….

With 6 weeks to go before the NEC reveal we now have a complete exterior from the fantastic @hithardcustoms

But the question is….. can we get the final bits of rust work done, engine and drivetrain built up, brakes built and plumbed in, wiring loom made, wrap around screen made and get the car painted and reassembled?……

Only time will tell!

My @goodwoodrevival day 2.

For me personally a nice relaxed day today, some great racing to watch , as always revival costumes, the stores and actresses and the general spectacle that is the revival was on point.

Been genuinely great to catch up and chinwag with loads of friends/colleagues this weekend and I think I’ve even made a few new ones.

Also squeezed in a lunch date with my pal @denialvibes today for a chat about upcoming work and opportunities over some grub.

Also took my 1976 120mm film yashica out and got several reels of ilford hp5 in the bag for @newportfilmlab to develop
