Yesterday our team had the opportunity to visit the Civil Rights Room at the Nashville Public Library for an experience that was educational and deeply meaningful. A special thank you to Elliott Robinson for helping facilitate this experience and for his continued dedication to educating others about Nashville’s Civil Rights legacy.

As stewards of a building deeply connected to Nashville’s Civil Rights Movement, we are committed to continually learning about the people, events, and courage that shaped history. The visit provided valuable perspective and reinforced the importance of preserving and sharing these stories with our guests.

While the Civil Rights Room at the Nashville Public Library has been closed due to a fire, the Woolworth Theatre has continued welcoming groups into our historic space to learn and reflect about Nashville’s Civil Rights history. @nowatnpl @uscivilrightstrail

This group, The Institute for Common Power, focuses on immersive, experiential learning that illuminates undervalued, underappreciated, and pivotal chapters of our shared history. @theinstitutecp
