We were honored to welcome Governor Healey, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll, Congressman McGovern, and state and local officials to campus today as Governor Healey announced the Health Care Affordability Working Group’s recommendations to help lower health care costs and strengthen the future workforce.

The visit included tours of our Nursing Simulation Lab and Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, where students and faculty showcased the hands-on learning experiences and state-of-the-art equipment available at Worcester State.

From the highest five-year average NCLEX pass rate in the Commonwealth—including a 100% pass rate for the 2025 cohort—to graduate employment rates consistently between 95% and 100% within one year of completion, Worcester State is proud to prepare the next generation of skilled, compassionate health care professionals.

Thank you to Governor Healey and all of today’s guests for recognizing the importance of investing in public higher education and the future of health care.
