There’s a strange beauty I guess in knowing that if love ever becomes loss..the depth of the grief will only be evidence of how deep and raw my love is…I’ve loved, I’ve lost, and through both I’m discovering and am in awe at the capacity of my own heart. Maybe that’s the gift and not my demise…that everything we love isn’t ours to keep. Tbh some love shows us just how much of ourselves we’re capable of giving, feeling, and becoming.

I AM love, it’ll never truly be a loss.

How does it feel to know…

that you were never REALLY chosen…

by anyone
you gave every atom to…

How does it feel
to see the karma strike…

No different.

I never really wanted revenge…
I wanted to stop being hurt

by the hands of people
I wanted nothing more than
to literally run to…

I wanted to go home…

So…

how does it feel to know
your heart was always homeless…

…

It feels like long days
and nights…

Questions
that may never have answers…

Trying to make sense
out of none…

…

Watering dead plants
under the sun…

hoping its rays
will bring life again…

will shine on hope again…

…

It feels like starting over…

Ripping the plants
from the ground…

and killing the weeds
around it…

Wondering how to salvage the soil…
revive it again…

…

It feels like the end…

But really…

it’s the beginning…

…

And just maybe…

the darkness I see…

is really me
finding my way
through the soil…

…

So I can reach the surface…

and finally take my first
new breath
of fresh air…

Spread my new roots…

so they can grow
big
and strong
and protected…

…

And find my way
to the highest point
in the sky…

…

Because nothing can stop me…

when I choose
where I’m planted…

and how I grow…

and where I choose
to stay…
