POSTS STORIES REELS

Just an appreciation post for my good homie @krosslandshaw of @wordswhiskeypod that come Raleigh every year to help a homie out, rip packs and slurp oysters with me.

Love you big dawg ! Can’t wait till next year ! by @wordswhiskeypod

Well hey there! A little bit later than most, but figured it best to introduce ourselves again here, and some of those varied interests- because why not! If you’ve listened to the show, surely you’ve heard us ramble and converse about some, if not all, of these things.

I’ve been excited to see everyone else’s picks as they’ve built their own- are there any here that you’re shocked are missing, or are included?

Cheers! by @wordswhiskeypod

“You cannot lead as a tyrant. The people under you will not let you. To lead is a kind of service, a duty you owe to those who follow.”

We’re stoked to have finally begun Demon in White, and can’t wait for you to experience it with us, as Hadrian takes his next steps. With enemies surrounding him, how could the Halfmortal not fail?

This big ride will take us all the way into the fall, so hop on and let’s go!

“The right belief is like a good cloak, I think. If it fits you well, it keeps you warm and safe. The wrong fit however, can suffocate.“

The second series we covered on the podcast, we were absolutely floored by the ongoing and evolving series that Brandon crafted across the Mistborn eras. I really also think that this is where we started to figure out how to get interesting with the cocktails, as opposed to refined basics.

While we may have preferred the first era to (most) of the second, even that evolution was a fun new spin. And with a movie in the works, it’ll be cool to see if what we predicted makes it to the screen. We’re definitely looking forward to era 3, and seeing what the man can come up with. by @wordswhiskeypod

“I would have lived peace. But my enemies brought me war.”

Our 300th episode comes out tomorrow, and while there’s no specific fanfare there, I wanted to celebrate a bit with the series and fandom that started it all. So many fans, artists, and creators met us with open arms. We’re so grateful that so many have followed along our journey, starting with Darrow’s, and have invited us on theirs. His journey isn’t over, and neither is ours.

Cheers, to Darrow, Victra, Mustang, Cassius, Sevro, and all of our other problematic favorites.

We’ve also been asked… “Hey, how can I easily see what books you’ve covered?” So, with our 300th episode, I figure a series of posts were in order to celebrate all the books that we’ve read, and create an easy place to reference back to, as well.

P.s. one final day for the artists edition! Snag yours while you can.

The next couple week lineup is looking pretty good! First up, today, we’ve got Ben from @howlerpod on to talk about The Long Walk. This was a Patreon exclusive that we’re throwing out onto the feed- enjoy!

Next, we’ll be returning to Sun Eater, with both The Lesser Devil and Howling Dark. Because of some scheduling, we’ll be hopping into Howling Dark first, but then breaking up Hadrian’s new journey with a little Crispin time, joined by Erin from HowlerPod!

And then… maybe something special around the corner after that. Keep your ears tuned! See you soon. by @wordswhiskeypod

Wholesome post incoming ✨

When we asked @krosslandshaw to write us a fairytale for our Nettle and Bone by @redwombatstudio episode, we expected something silly, funny and filled with plot holes.

What we didn’t expect was to meet Lorp - the new unofficial mascot of Books and Baddies. Our sweet little Chinchilla, the most familiar of our fairytale hero. Lorp quickly turned into a silly moment for the Baddies and our collection of sticky notes and we couldn’t help but share them. 🐭🏰 by @wordswhiskeypod

There’s always money in the banana stand, Hadrian! Our first episode is a behemoth, but Josh adds tons of comedic levity to make it go down smoothly.
