We also have Gift Cards to each store as 7 secondary Prizes!

You have from April 20th till April 25th 2026, Closing time (6/7pm) to submit the Draw Ticket at the back of the booklet at any participating store. Individual Stamp cards will also be available if you want to show your support without taking on the challenge!

The February pick for Words Worth's First Editions Club is Suddenly Light by Nina Dunic!
Dave's take: These short stories are sparse, brilliant little miracles, and after a fine first novel, this is a writer destined for great things. I'll read everything she writes.
Signed first editions of Suddenly Light are on offer now! For details on the First Editions Club, click here: https://www.wordsworthbooks.com/first-editions-club @dunicnina

Throw Back! This picture was taken back in 2010, Words Worth Books' old location next door!

Stuart McLean, a beloved literary and CBC radio icon, visited our store to sign some books and meet his friends and fans. We spoke with Stuart and told him jokingly that the bookstore in his stories, Woodsworth Books, sounds like Words Worth Books when read over the radio. With compete sincerity, Stuart replied that from now on his fictional bookstore is in fact named Words Worth Books!

Stuart McLean always made a point of stopping in to our store before his sold out shows at the Centre in the Square. It has been a few years since his passing but Stuart will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The best thing about reading? It’s the best way to tell a story. Period. No one knows that better than Dave and Mandy at @wordsworthbooks (link in bio for full video)

Winner of the Best Online Delivery Service, Words Worth Books also celebrated their 40 anniversary in 2024. While they were unsure how to proceed when COVID-19 began, in the end, the store thrived by using their online platform for customers to order books.
