Pure joy 🤩🎊 I just love them sm🥰

I'm mainly painting traditionally these days as I spent the whole day on screen already, and I want to progress on line precision while inking and work on watercolor. I want to redraw some old piece soon. But I have 2 other projects on the go. Yayy

Josuke-with-Prince-mood study largely based on the AMAZING cosplay of @___.niko.niko.___ 💎💜 (serioulsy... it's the best Josuke cosplay I have ever seen.. like everything is perfect from the makeup to the posing, jewelry, light, music etc). I'm happy because I finish this piece just before launching my first real prints order so it will be on the catalogue, and then I leave for vacations. My plan is to get at minimum ready for art cons I want to apply for (I'm currently on one con's wait list but I will apply to some other anyways, bc it's important for me and it would mean a lot!!)
.
I'm trying to give some "moods" to my illustrations and this cosplay setup, light etc were super inspiring and I think I learned a lot in the process. Im trying to not overdo it and remain "rough" in my study. I still have to work on some elements like hair or ears that are still not evident for me. But I had fun!!! 🤠 I def want to do these studies more by @woriven

After hours of sweating over my tablet through the heatwaves: here is finally my entry for #empaintsalotdtiys!!!🥳🎀 Congrats again @em_paintsalot for the 2.5K followers - that are now 3.4k by the time I finished this 🤣😭💖 and thx for lovely reference, it inspired me to give Kak and Jojo this peaceful morning they deserve 🫂
.
I actually tried something new, more "painterly"(?) and with lineart directly reworked from the draft. I followed a tutorial about it, I'm not sure about my application lmao.. but I humanly couldn't put more hours on this piece. I tried to work the colors a lot and enjoyed adding some environnement and food. Def the vibe I want to go for more 🤗 i really like more narrative illustrations. Love yall💖

Jonathan's loyalty and bravery, in contrast with Dio's relentless cruelty, is a mythical cornestone of the show. When you read/watch part 1 its a make-or-break point to me. Tbh at first I was kind of uncomfy with the cruelty/violence but I decided to continue anyway and I'm so happy I did. This story, or rather legend, embodies this fight between good and evil, or more precisely, damnation and suffering against forgiveness and kindness 💙 also I couldn't stop listening to this song during the hours I drew this, it's about acceptance and letting go, I think it can represents the most humane part of Jonathan in a way.

Sooo this is my first semi realism since years and it's actually extremely freeing and fun to make. Simplifying shapes is super important, and trying to avoid double shadowing and some kind of artifacts. I'm quite happy with the result. I played with the brush basic-4 flow opacity in Krita. Love it!!

Last week I've been ordering my first ever test samples (prints). I wanted to use this design for test sticker but I just didn't like the first result, so I redrew it. It was faster than the first attempt fortunately. I just wanted an art style I could like better and reproduce on other designs. It's part of the process to see mistakes and dislike an "old" piece (this one was from March but I kind of didn't like it since the start hehe). I just think this result is more faithful to my original idea. Okuyasu looks better now imo. Anyway, this is just a sticker. But its the first one, so i wanted to put a lit of care to it 🤗 by @woriven

I spent quite some time on these piece, I must say I'm quite happy with how it turned out esp the lineart. I struggled go find the right color palette and final rendering but I think the final choice is not too terrible. Let's continue on this path hehee

I wanted to finish and post this Gyro before the sun sets. The panel is from the Steel Ball Run manga vol 22. I used ink, watercolor and a tip of color pencils 😊
