We want our relationships to stay the same, our careers to keep moving upwards, our bodies to remain young and our happiness to last forever.

But life doesn’t work that way.

In Buddhist philosophy, Paññā (wisdom) includes insight into Anicca — the impermanent nature of all conditioned experiences. Much of our distress comes from resisting the reality that things change.

This reel explores attachment, ageing, career transitions and the freedom that can come from accepting life’s changing nature.

In Vipassana and Buddhist practice, Samādhi refers to cultivating concentration and mental steadiness. Meditation isn’t about forcing your mind to become blank. It’s about noticing when your attention wanders and gently bringing it back.

Discover a more realistic approach to meditation, mindfulness and mental focus in a world full of distractions.

Most people don’t abandon their values overnight. It happens through small compromises — taking credit for someone else’s work, bending the truth to get ahead, or tolerating what we know is wrong because it’s convenient.

In Vipassana, Sīla (ethical conduct) reminds us that how we pursue success matters just as much as success itself.

A reflection on ambition, integrity, people-pleasing and the hidden cost of compromising your values.

The career you once dreamed of may no longer fulfil you. Relationships may change, priorities may shift, and the person you thought you had to become may no longer feel like you.

Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras explore parinama (change or transformation) and drashta (the seer, or the principle that observes experience). These concepts offer a philosophical lens for understanding life’s changing circumstances without reducing your identity to any one role, experience or phase.

You can honour your past without being imprisoned by it.

Karwa Chauth celebrates love and commitment, but modern relationships can sometimes become a performance — measured through gifts, grand gestures, social media posts and sacrifice.

Yogic philosophy encourages maitri, or friendliness and goodwill. What if we brought more of that spirit into our relationships through honest communication, mutual respect and everyday kindness?

This Karwa Chauth, look beyond how love appears and reflect on how it actually feels.

Are your opinions, ambitions and preferences truly yours—or are they shaped by what you constantly consume online?

Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras explore chitta vritti (the movements of the mind) and the role of abhyasa (consistent practice) and vairagya (non-attachment) in working with them. In today’s world of trends, influencers and endless comparison, this ancient philosophy offers a useful invitation: observe your mind instead of automatically following every thought or desire.

New planner. New workout. New morning routine. And somehow, by Thursday, everything has fallen apart.

The Bhagavad Gita’s advice on moderation offers a different approach to building habits: instead of swinging between extremes, find a sustainable balance in how you eat, sleep, work and rest.
You don’t need a perfect routine. You need one that works on ordinary days.

“I’m just brutally honest” is sometimes used to justify words that hurt more than they help.
Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras identify ahimsa (non-harming) and satya (truthfulness) as two of the

Yamas, the ethical principles of Yoga. Together, they offer a valuable reflection on how we communicate at work, in relationships and online.
Truth matters. So does how we deliver it.

Do you say yes because you genuinely want to help—or because you’re afraid someone will be disappointed in you? People-pleasing can leave you overcommitted, resentful and disconnected from your own responsibilities. The Bhagavad Gita offers a way to reflect on acting responsibly rather than simply reacting to everyone’s expectations.

Kindness matters. So does knowing what is yours to carry.

Your friend gets promoted. Someone your age buys a house. Another person announces a huge achievement—and suddenly your own life feels smaller.

Why does comparison turn someone else’s good news into our private disappointment? The Bhagavad Gita explores qualities such as non-envy and freedom from hostility. Here’s how to use that wisdom when comparison creeps into your career and everyday life.
