We are so honored to have @byjulienjames book I Love You Always, All Ways listed as a winner for @aigadesign 50 Books | 50 Covers!! Y’all, listen… It has been an uphill climb to share this book with the world. A lot of love and care went into the subject matter, photo selection, design, and production. I want to first thank Allah for giving me the will and a way to produce this. I’d like to also thank my wife for pushing me to keep going—you are a real one! You believed in me when I lost hope. I also really wish my dad was here to see this. Maybe he’s looking down from his place of rest with pride. Thanks to our two girls for giving daddy time to cook on this one.

Julien, dear brother, thank for you for trusting us with your vision and we are immensely honored to publish such a thought provoking book. This process has beautifully woven our families together and I’m honored to call you my brother. I hope people are really picking up what you are putting down with this project, your practice, and others to come.

To my brother @justinmikhailsolomon you really did your thing on the documentation!! I actually cried when I saw the images. No prompts were given and yet you magically captured the essence of this book and you gave it added gravitas. Words cannot express how thankful we are for your contributions. I always said that there was one thing missing and this was that added spice we needed!

Everyone here should be proud of what we have accomplished. To those of you that don’t already have one, grab a copy while they are still here.

From our screens to your coffee table, with love and intention. by @work_play

Sometimes you need a little distance from your own life to understand the road you’ve been walking. Time has a way of clarifying the path.

Lately I’ve been revisiting the images that became I Love You Always, All Ways.
Time does something strange to work once it leaves your hands. You start to see the person who made it — what they were trying to understand, what they were still becoming.

If you’re new here and haven’t come across the book yet, it’s a project about lineage.

Three generations of men — my father, myself, and my son, Maison.

It’s about fatherhood, inheritance, and the quiet ways love moves through time. The versions of ourselves we leave behind. The ones we grow into.

Looking back now, the book feels less like something I made and more like something that helped me understand where I come from — and what it means to stand between a father and a son.

As of late, there has been a cosmic nudge to offer Gabriel’s Horn for FREE this week. It’s less about art and more about the nuggets of information neatly presented in the document. There’s a lot going on in our country and after watching the documentary on Tubi about Kendrick Johnson, we knew this digital book needed to be offered right now. Honestly, we really opposed producing this book but the ancestors insisted that we use our gifts to help somebody. As our mentor succinctly puts it, “You cannot build anything upon a lie. This is now the time for disclosure and you cannot afford to deny or be ashamed of that which is true.”

Gabriel’s Horn is free for the week. Go get it and absorb the teachings, insights, and prophetic messages contained therein. Remember, truth will set both your mind and your body free.
