Lord Of The Rings: Battle For Middle Earth ⚔️

The amount of hours I sunk into this game as a kid is mad, and since a mate of mine found a downloadable link (that actually works!) I can go ahead and sink many more. 🧑🏼‍💻

This game, and subsequent games in the franchise, really got me into RTS games and even now I can spend hours, even days, getting lost in an RTS or a Grand Strategy game (content of GS games to come).

Let me know if you played this beauty or any RTS/GS game recommendations - I'd love to hear from you! 👇🏼

Now then! So this is me, workaday/Josh. 🎮👋🏼

Firstly, everyone who has liked, shared and viewed this page, it's really appreciated. I literally thought I'd maybe get 20 followers who were my friends just being nice, so thank you. 🙌🏼

I'm Josh, I'm 35 and from stunning Yorkshire. ⛪

I'm an architect in the real world but a gamer, lover of nerdy things, LOTR enthusiast, lego builder and general geek. Always will be a millennial emo at heart 🖤

I had no goals when starting this page, no target follows, no posts-per-week aim, no aspirational amount of likes...Just wanted to share my love of gaming and try making some fun content. This page was 18 months of procrastination in the works because of self doubt, but if a post makes at least one person smile then goal achieved. 💪🏼

Thanks for reading! If you made it this far leave a comment or something... Everything is TLDR these days 😂

P.S. the last picture was Halloween, I'm about as edgy as a satsuma so painted nails is not a common occurrence 😂

I simply cannot get enough of taking pictures in 🏴‍☠️

The sassy skeleton shipman salsa'ing is a particular favourite ☠️ I'll do a video about how to actually find this in the world because who wouldn't want an undead crew just like #piratesofthecaribbean

🎉 No 30th Celebration cards for me, so here are my 30 year old cards instead (there or there abouts, don't hunt me down Poké-nerds).

I went through my very modest collection and picked out some of my favourite and most beloved cards as well as some I just love the art style for. As you can tell I stopped collecting pretty young and if you saw how I store these bad boys I think I'd be strung up. 🙃

@pokemontcgukofficial I'm an OG 😂

SPOILERS AHEAD! Farcry 4 secret ending 🤐 👇🏼

However the game is about 10 years old so if you didn't know the Farcry games have secret endings by now, that's on you...

So you can complete the game in 20 minutes or so by... Waiting for Pagan Min at the start, like he so politely asks you to do 🦀

As us gamers are rebels, the game lets you move around and leave the room you're in to progress the story. If you sit and wait, around 13 real life minutes, Pagan comes back and shows you where to spread your mother's ashes... With the little sister who was killed long before the start of the game!

I enjoy these secrets and little details, knowing you can complete the game, and the main characters whole objective, without firing a shot 😂

Annoyingly... No achievements, no trophies or special gear. Just... Satisfaction? Maybe?

Either way I did it so you don't have to 👉🏼

1500 Followers! 🙏🏼 Actually stunned. Thank you to all for the likes, shares, follows etc. on this modest little page of nerdy stuff.

To continue my (rather dumb) tradition of thank you posts, please enjoy my little Snorlax t-shirt from the biggest Uniqlo I'll ever see in my life in Tokyo, I could not say no.

No.0143 SNORLAX
Very lazy. Just eats and sleeps.
As it's rotund bulk builds, it becomes steadily more slothful.

Quite 🎮

Thanks again everyone, you're all brilliant 🩶

Finally finishing the greatest Trilogy of all time ⚔️

Extended editions, of course.

Sadly I haven't had the chance to build Minas Tirith yet so we're stuck with Rivendell Aragorn and Gandalf the Grey mini-figures but I'm sure they will appear on this feed in the future!

Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone - make the most of it, won't be another one until Christmas 🥲

Gyarados. Dragonite. Lets talk about it 🎤

Level 20 and level 55 evolutions to get these two is such a grind. Two favourite Gen 1 Pokémon without question.

I'd love to know what y'alls favourites are, let me know in the comments 👇🏼

Halo Campaign Evolved ☠️ Enjoy Halo John's grunts and death rattles. And the occasional wort wort wort.

Potentially 40+ deaths in the first mission alone. Shocking play.

Still so fun though, loving this campaign - what a remaster. 🙏🏼

☠️ Sail into the Black ☠️

This might be impeccably ambitious, but fuck it. I believe this banger would make a creepy, dark and very emotive Sea Shanty on Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced 🏴‍☠️

Tagging all the people who might be able to make this happen. Let's have a nerdy/gaming/metal collaboration for the ages 🙏🏼

This might end up deep in Davey Jones Locker of shit ideas, but I'm hopeful and naive.

What do you say guys? Shall we Sail into the Black? ⚫
