Introduction (improv dialogue)

Dexter Birk x Sarahfina Osei (coming soon)

-

As an intro to the 3 song EP - "Introduction (improv dialogue) begins the story for the upcoming songs "moonbeams" and "everything reminds you of a heartbreak (when your heartbroken)"

For the artwork we collaborated @palimpsestart to interpret the song in whichever way she envisioned - holding true to the original idea of the song being "improvisation"

-

*Special thanks to everybody involved in the project*

Meet the faces behind the Collective! Collectif Defar is a combination of French & Wolof a nod to both Awa’s Gambian & Senegalese identity and my Algerian heritage. Defar means to create in wolof and Awa and I aim to do just that, create.

We are both so excited to share and create more to come, this page aims to be more than a couple insta posts and flyers, we want to build a community and a space for all lovers of art.

Get to know a little bit more about us as curators and our own individual journeys as artists & stay tuned for an upcoming post today regarding our next show! by @workbyanais
