Music engineering is vital to creating a good record, and I'm excited to showcase how far mine has come with a nearly full re-record of this song, What Happened Between Dusk and Dawn. It initially came out on Solidarity EP more than 4 years ago, in which time I've put a deep effort into improving my skills as both a musician and a producer. Check out this comparison between the old and new versions, and be sure to give a listen to the new version when it comes out this Friday, May 9th!

For the final track on Solar Cycles, I wanted to create a larger-than-life guitar solo. To do this, I mirrored the piano line with plucked, tremolo, and bowed melodies, along with a callback in the lower octave. Each guitar was recorded at 3 sources, creating 18 tracks that blend together to make this epic sound. Listen to the full song "Curtain Close, Pt. 1" on May 9th!
