POSTS STORIES REELS

If your habits keep “failing,” it might not be your habits.
It might be the identity story underneath them. Drop a 🔥 if this hit you—and save this for the next time you catch yourself saying, “I’m just not that person.”
You can stack reminders, routines, and motivation all day. But if you still believe:
“I’m bad with money”
“I’m not disciplined”
“I always take care of everyone else”

Your behavior will keep drifting back to that story.
Real change starts when you stop asking, “How do I force this habit?” and start asking, “Who do I believe I am?”
That shift changes everything.
What identity story are you ready to rewrite?

Why do smart, motivated people still struggle to change?
Because behavior follows identity. If you want a habit to stick, you can’t just force the action - you have to address who you believe you are at your core. That’s the part most people skip.
Save this for the next time you feel stuck, and send it to someone who keeps “starting over.”
What’s one change you’ve been trying to make that keeps pulling you back? Full conversation in the episode.

You don’t have to earn your place in your relationships by being useful. Let people see the cracks — that’s the courage, not the weakness.

Joy and Pain are two separate emotions. Nick Strand highlights how we can find joy in sadness.

Sometimes joy is comfort. Sometimes it is a memory that makes you smile through tears. Sometimes it is the connection you still feel with someone you love, even in a sad moment.
In this clip, Nick Strand reminds us that real positivity is not pretending negative feelings do not exist. It is having the courage to name your true reality, understand the why beneath what you feel, and make room for grace and gratitude.

You do not have to choose between sadness and joy. Both can be true at the same time.
What is one memory, person, or small moment that brings you comfort when life feels heavy?

When life gets hard, choosing your attitude is not about pretending the pain is not real.
It is about deciding how you will meet the moment in front of you.
Nick Strand knows what it means to keep showing up through pressure, grief, loss, and the unexpected turns life brings. His reminder is simple, but powerful: your attitude can become a decision, not just a feeling.

You may not control every circumstance. You can control your next right step.
What attitude are you choosing today?

What do you do when the show must go on, but your heart is carrying more than anyone can see?

For 20 years, Nick Strand helped build world-class stages for Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder, and more. Behind the scenes, he was navigating the loss of his mother, loving his wife Brianna through terminal cystic fibrosis, and facing his own health crisis.

His story is not about pretending pain is not present. It is about choosing what matters, taking the next right step, and building a life strong enough to hold you when pressure rises.

In this conversation, Nick shares why resilience is not about powering through, why a change of scenery is not always real rest, and how his Build Your Stage framework helps us lead with intention through hard seasons.

Year 22. On this day. I married my best friend. I knew I made the right decision that day and I’m more certain now than ever.
The people closest to me know that the last 7 months has been a whirlwind. Battling a sudden illness that has taken its toll. Countless of medical visits and hospitalizations could have been unbearable, but they weren’t because my husband was there through it all.
I joked one morning saying that he was doing things for me that I didn’t expect us to do for each other until our golden years. He just kept going never complaining. He once said to my medical team, “The worse part of all this is that I can only sit here helpless. I can’t take her pain away.”
I’m beyond grateful for this man whose unconditional love is limitless.
I asked him what he wanted this year as a gift. He responded, “Nothing, I just want to have fun.”
God willing today fun is what we shall have.

I said the thing we all think, but rarely say rest isn’t a reward. It’s a necessity. Are you truly resting or just recovering from burnout?

Tax, one who needs to hear this!

We often treat rest is something we earn after hard work, but that mindset leaves, exhausted and unfulfilled. True rest is essential for creativity and brilliance, not just a pause between tasks. If your downtime feels like another project it’s time for a change.

You trained them to rely on your endless capacity. You are allowed to change the contract.

This is not about blame. The people in your life are not bad people; they adapted to what you showed them was available. But you are allowed to renegotiate. You are allowed to say: 'The terms have changed. Here is what I need now.'

That conversation does not have to start a fight. It can start a new chapter.

What would you renegotiate first? Drop it in the comments.

You are not failing. You are just waiting too long to ask.

Here is what I know about high-achieving women: we wait until we are completely depleted before we ask for help. We wait until the resentment is so loud we cannot hear ourselves think. And then when we finally ask, it comes out as frustration instead of a request.

In this week's bonus episode, I share a simple three-part structure, See, Feel, Want, that helps you ask for support before you hit the wall.

Bonus episode 'Running on Empty: How to Tell Your Loved Ones Without the Fight' is live now. Link in bio to listen.

You are allowed to stop being the project manager of your entire household.

You are allowed to let someone else hold the clipboard for a while.
You are allowed to say 'I need help' without a detailed explanation.
You are allowed to rest without earning it first.

Permission granted.

Which one of these do you need to hear most today? Tell me in the comments.

You have spent years making it look effortless. They cannot see the weight you are carrying unless you show it to them.

This is the part nobody talks about. When you are the 'strong one,' you train the people around you to expect your endless capacity. They are not ignoring you, they genuinely cannot see what you are carrying because you have made it invisible.

The first step to getting support is letting them see the weight. Drop a 🙋‍♀️ in the comments if this one hit home.
