What better way to end our celebrations of #WorldFringeDay than to shout about our latest production, what are we going to do when this is all over? #WAWGTD

This latest offering is our most truthful and honest production to date, incorporating our signature blend of autobiographical and interactive performance. WAWGTD is an exploration of Helen and Alexander’s relationship as we create new work whilst negotiating the realities that life throws at us. It is a play about memories and music.

This is a production designed specifically for #fringetheatre with proximity with audience in mind.

Happy World Fringe Day! Today we celebrate the global Fringe movement: its artists, festivals, audiences, and community.

Since we launched Atlanta Fringe in 2012, we’ve been incredibly honored, proud, & grateful to host hundreds of shows on dozens of stages in a bunch of neighborhoods all over our amazing city. The artists, audiences, staff and volunteers, & venue partners - not to mention the donors, sponsors, & granters - who make this festival happen might not even realize that they’re contributing to such a huge worldwide movement. But thankfully, Atlanta Fringe is not alone! We have simply plugged ourselves into one of the largest circuits for performing arts in the world!

Fringes are dedicated to providing space & time, points of connection, opportunities for community and career development, and chances to see your city in a new light, to look at the world and the people around you with new eyes. Unexpected moments, surprising performance spaces, bold, genre-defying work coming from diverse perspectives and voices, all happening inside a model of performing arts festival that is uniquely frenetic, challenging, and thrilling - all this comes together to create a space so fun, wild, welcoming, & fresh that is absolutely irresistible. We are so proud to be one of so many amazing fringes worldwide!

Here on team 🏛Anti-Gone🏛, we are incredibly proud to be a part of the global Fringe movement. Fringe has brought dear friends and collaborators into our lives, introduced us to the most brilliant art we've ever seen and helped us spread our message of civic engagement to an astounding variety of people 🫂

"The biggest fountain of inspiration you can have"

@pabs.lechuga first came to Gothenburg Fringe as a volunteer, before returning the following year as a performer!

He has brought his brilliant spirit and work to a number of Fringes and we're delighted to welcome him back this year with Los Monroe!

At OH! CASTLE FESTIVAL IN TOPU, we believe children deserve art that’s bold, imaginative, and truly theirs. Our mission is to build an international, family-friendly residency arts festival. World Fringe Day is an annual celebration that unites more than 300 Fringe Festivals worldwide. It takes place on July 11 each year. The day was established in 2017 to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Fringe movement, which originated in Edinburgh. Fringe festivals from New Zealand to Hawaii participate in this global celebration, highlighting the vibrant and diverse world of fringe theatre and arts.
