I saw it. I said it. I sorted it. Annual London trip, this time with the full local immersive experience of a tube strike with a side of rain. But finally got to see a West End show and a sunny pub experience (but of course it had to pour first)!!

The bird is a paid actor 🤭

Probably one of my favorite moments from my New Zealand trip back in 2019. Doubtful Sound is one of the more popular choices for people to visit, but my tour group brought us to Milford Sound where there was less boat traffic and tourists. This enhanced the serenity and quietness of the atmosphere. It was such a beautiful experience.

The low hanging clouds and green backdrop made me feel like I was about to enter Jurassic World 😂🦕

2024 felt like a warm, cozy blanket (for the most part) 🥰 Some highlights —

👯‍♀️ Reunited with old friends, made new ones, and met some irl finally!

🎵 Jammed out to and cried over bands I’ve waited my whole life to see & were a huge part of my childhood/teens (@sclub @avrillavigne @simpleplan @jcchasezofficial). Hearing their songs live for the first time? Magical 🥹😭

🌎 Traveled a lot using PTO and for work, no surprise there! 25 flights, 9 domestic trips, 4 international trips, 9 cities, 4 countries (Taiwan, Korea, Ireland, England), 2 continents, 7/12 months (I think this is the most so far 😵‍💫)

🐭 Went to Disneyland for the first time and that was also magical 💫

✈️ Got upgraded to business class for the first time!!! (Twice!!!)

🎾 Went to the US Open for the first time to watch practice matches. Do I usually watch tennis? No! But it was free and I wanted to try new things.

📺 Rewatched a lot of cheesy 2000s romcoms and comfort shows (One Tree Hill, New Girl, Hart of Dixie, Younger to name a few) to get me through the days I had anxiety and didn’t feel like leaving the house

I would’ve missed out on a lot of these experiences and memories had I not gone alone. Life is short, wait for no one!!

When I tell you all I did was eat…the cafes in Seoul are top tier!!

1. Dotori Garden (inspired by Studio Ghibli)
2. Cheongsudang Bakery (omg their matcha cake was 10/10)
3. Koriko Cafe (inspired by Kiki’s Delivery)
4. Art x Shift (owned & designed by a married couple, both artists)
5. Thanks Nature Cafe 🐑
6. NUDAKE Haus Dosan (squid ink croissant with matcha crème 🤤)
7-8. Soha Saltpond
9-10. Cafe Onion Anguk
11-12. Osulloc Tea House Bukchon
13. You Are What You Eat (plant based restaurant)
14. Ddong Cafe (💩 themed)
15. Daol Charcoal Grill Myeongdong Branch (not a cafe but was yum)
