Hi friends! This was an event that we all signed up for months ago so the sweetest local chocolate maker could individually wrap 800 chocolate bars with Wonka wrapping and hide tickets and raffle entries within.

Given current events, a majority of us are pulling our participation for this event and Carytown is canceling. Please stay tuned for fun collaborations with our small businesses and safe spaces. An excited pivot incoming!!!

All our love 🫶🏼🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Have you ever explored Carytown in Richmond? ✨

We were headed to @burtons.grill for dinner and had a little extra time, so we decided to wander and see what we could discover.

Our first stop was @worldofmirth 🧸 My daughter is obsessed with Jellycats, and when we heard they had them, we had to check it out. It did not disappoint! From Jellycats and games to unique toys and gifts, this is such a fun store to browse.

We also popped into a few other Carytown favorites, including @bbgbbooks and @justbrickandmortar . One of the best parts about Carytown is that you can park, walk around, and find so many unique local shops along the way.

📅 Mark your calendar for January 1 and check out the Carytown New Year’s Day Cone Parade. It’s one of Richmond’s most unique traditions!

Have you been to World of Mirth? What’s your favorite Carytown stop? 👇

When our local Lowe’s cat, Francine, went missing in September 2025, my parents (who both spend a lot of time at Lowe’s) were tuned into the story. My mom even cried a little bit when we heard Francine had been found and returned home safely🥲. My dad was inspired to write about Francine’s adventures, and after many months of editing and drawing and editing and drawing, we self-published our first book together, Have You Seen Francine?

Available for purchase online (link in bio) or at @worldofmirth in Carytown, RVA

We love you, Francine!!! @wheresfrancine by @worldofmirth
