WormWorld has been and always will be a political band. Throigh our song lyrics, our beliefs as individuals and as a band, and as our actions as a band, we strive to be open about our beliefs, and open in condemning bigotry, capitalism, and hate. As always there is so much to be done, especially now as ICE terrorizes our communities throughout the country. ICE has no place in our community, this country, or this world. The long history of hate, thay has allowed for our friends, families and neighbors to be terroriced by cops, ICE, by bigots and by white supremacists is unforgivable and dispicable.
As a band we want to try and use our platform, and any reach that we might have, to address social issues especially as horrific as the actions of ICE. FUCK ICE.
We are releasing a live recording of one of our shows, that will be up on BandCamp, and for sale in CD form at our shows moving forward. We have also taken some time to make some merch to go along with the album. 100% of digital download sales of the album will be donated to immigration relief funds, as well as 50% of sales from CDs and Merch (shit is expensive🥲). We all live paycheck to paycheck so we hope this way we are able to raise some money for a good cause. As always we have some immigration resources in our bio and will have some resources at our shows as well. Stay safe out there and look out for those around you.

Love, WormWorld

Excited to announce a fun show at Why Not Bar! Come hang and see your local buddies in Blank Incorporated, check out WormWorld from Orlando (we played with at My Sisters House and they were so fun and impressive!) - myrigidbody - is a band that my good buddy Stephen started with Traezon (our bassist) so he will be double gigging for their 2nd ever show. Show them some love 😍 ! And finally, MM$PB will be debuting a few ‘LOVE TRANSACTIONS ’ songs at this gig. Keep an eye out for our new record! We are actively finishing up writing and starting demos to get ready for the album. Been writing just under 20 songs so either I’m gonna have to trim them or release a double album. Ok whatever lmao enough yapping come have fun after Halloween! The party continues ! LOVE LOVE LOVE TRANSACTIONS ACTIONS ACTIONS FOREVER EVER EVER!!! I’ve always been an outspoken advocate for the idea that we can and should fight for better. That’s not the conversation that we’ve been having as a nation, for the duration of this administration and long before it. That being said, even more so than their first tenure, The Trump administration has brought upon all of us conversations of a more existential nature; the eradication of civil rights and protections broadly, the barbarism of the war crimes being committed in our name, and the rapidly increasing instability of the current administration. We have to be ready to meet the crisis of aggressively encroaching fascism head on, with candidates who won’t buckle in the face of adversity and meekly suggest half measures. We need fighters, now more than ever.

With that in mind, join us July 25th for an evening of live music protest in its finest form as we rally around candidates in our backyard who will take the fight to fascism; local candidates who don’t just stand up to authoritarianism and ineptitude, but actively stand for something. Candidates who stand for, and forget for, better.

Admission for the event, including local bands, vendors, and food trucks all backing the fight to preserve democracy, costs the same as our vote; entirely free, just show up.

Get out to the show, and more importantly, get out and vote August 18th! by @wormworldband

Another one! the inspiration and motives behind the music according to our drummer Vinny....

"WormWorld is so important to me, and I think its important to the community too. The music and lyrics are so unabashedly political and outspoken, and I think that's an important stance to hear today, from artists, musicians and all kinds of creatives. I feel as though the band is an instrument to inspire people into political action, or thinking critically about the injustices being imposed on all of us, but also a way to challenge harmful assumptions and preconceived notions that people may have. Its also so incredibly fun and a way to be a part of a collective effort of not only the band but the whole music scene, pushing back against the rugged individualism that capitalism forces upon us. I think WormWorld is a way for me to speak out for things I believe in, and to make art unapologetically in a time where that's becoming a radical concept."

Why do we do this thing called WormWorld? Our kickass lead vocalist and guitarist talks about the motivations behind our music, lyrics and why he is in WormWorld...

"Writing is a release. I love journaling, reviewing movies, and writing about general angst from the crushing weight of the patriarchy. Rage can be a gift. Not only for destruction, but for restoration, expression, justice. With WormWorld, I give direction to my rage. It's messages that I don't believe are getting said enough. Fuck ICE, Fuck the police, Fuck this system built on a foundation of pure corruption. These are the things I hope brings camaraderie to our communities. Reagan is the devil and Trump is the anti-christ. "
