To keep this gorgeous color vibrant and healthy, here are the top 4 rules:

1️⃣ Wait 48 hours before washing! This helps the color set beautifully.
2️⃣ Switch to sulfate-free products. They’re gentle and won’t strip your color away.
3️⃣ Limit heat styling. Let those locks breathe, and if you must style, always use a heat protectant!
4️⃣ Protect from sun and chlorine. A cute hat in the sun and a quick rinse before swimming can do wonders!

The best artists know practice and patience will always prevail. There are no shortcuts in becoming a successful artist. Many hours of work for the glimpse of hope that it will turn out the way you ever so tediously plan.

Red is my favorite color to do for so many reasons. My number one reason? It’s so versatile and really can be customized for any skin tone or vibe. Sometimes people will say, “Anything but red and I’ll be happy. I don’t want to see any red” when really they don’t want to see any warmth. (But guess what? You can have a cool red, too.) Lol, anyway, it’s truly so beautiful on everyone. If red isn’t your vibe, that’s cool. We love all hair colors over here. 🍒 by @wormyswork

This was my first time returning to the beach I went to every summer as a kid.

It was nostalgic and new all at the same time.

I was reminded of the gifts life has given me. the memories made at the expense of long hours worked by my family to create these moments. The many miles driven, the sacrifices made to ensure my childhood was filled with family traditions and memories together.

I am very honored to come back to this place and make memories with my Gran as an adult: to drive her, not the other way around; to put sunscreen on her, just like she would when I was a kid; to fight over the check at dinner; and finally, to shake hands over me getting the condo and her paying for gas. Having all my grandparents at 31 is a blessing. My family is flawed, and our relationships? Not perfect. But I fiercely love them, and the rest will work itself out as the universe intends.
