Some horizontally oriented pictures from this week while biking the Fire and Ice loop in Gifford Pinchot and camping overnight at Surprise Lakes with @mynamesdrew who took some of these pics. Enjoying some nice weather for it this time of year and it was beautiful up there. Mushrooms popping off, huckleberry leaves changing color… We got chased by a pack of 10 dogs near Surprise Lakes 😆 The Panther Creek area has a ton of pull off camping spots for those of you who ask about car camping from time to time, especially on the way to Goose Lake. Having a late September like this year and looking into early October is always a weird one for us who love the sun but know the lack of rain ain’t good. How climate change deniers can’t just see it with their own eyes is beyond me. by @wornpathstore

7 lakes basin was insanely beautiful! Got to see a couple of bears from afar, a couple of marmots, a grouse and plenty of the usual nw woods wildlife. by @wornpathstore

i’ll be down @p_a_r_t_l_y / @musiqueplastique playing a very random selection of music from my small, but stylistically varied, record collection on friday may 15th from 4-6pm. there’s a couch and stools down there if you want to post up and flip through some of the books and zines they have for sale. they also have tea for you. let’s see if i can make a playlist that connects orchid to slim whitman to jennifer lara without jarring you 😉 by @wornpathstore
