POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We made a recordddd! My first album ‘untarnishing’ comes out on October 16th.

Last February myself and Doc locked ourselves away in a house in Kildare and emerged two weeks later with the guts of this album. I’m so excited for these songs to be out of me and into the world 🌷

The album art is by the amazing @paddycritchleyart , I’d go through a wall for you Pad. And the vinyl was designed by wonderful @deathpix 🐭

You can preorder the vinyl package now on Bandcamp (it’s also Bandcamp Friday so the money goes directly to artists)!

Also new single ‘Forgiving’ is out today! Indie rock is so back.

Little bit about the awesome rock song forgiving

I wrote Forgiving in about 2022, think it’s the oldest song off the album. I was feeling major #grumpy at some festival years ago & couldn’t work out why ~ few months later I started counselling for the first time and realised that the feeling was actually JEALOUSY of my able bodied friends ~ seeing everyone be able to camp and dance and carry all their shit and not feel like a truck had run them over made me mourn the able bodied version of myself.

Forgiving is about letting go of alternative versions & making peace with how things are, there’s some things that just can’t be, Róisín ! Shout out Graham at [redacted college] counselling services for sorting the ed out 🙏
