'HOLD OUR SPIRITS IN YOUR HANDS' - OUT NOW Now being free from the gravity of being human, the traveler crosses the long, silent distances between stars, between galaxies. Their wonder gives way to isolation as the scale of the universe stretches seemingly endlessly in every direction. Eventually, they feel themselves being pulled toward a distant planet, a planet marked by the ruins of a civilization long gone, so long that nature had now reclaimed it. Among the remains lies a coffin, and inside it, the unmistakable evidence of another human life, one that ended far before their ancestors, so far from home. The discovery feels like a warning, but is mistaken for a sign from the gods, a sign that the revelation that has been long-awaited is close. Their exhaustion begins to erode certainty, and with this exhaustion, the soul falls into a dark, never ending void. Adrift in a vast and lightless expanse, memories of home resurface. People without faces, promises, and the fragile hope that started their journey. but they remember their purpose, what they’re fighting for. Summoning what remains of their fading purpose, they gather the energy to push forward until the boundaries of reality fracture, and the universe itself begins to feel thin and unstable. α›αšΊαš±α›Ÿαš’αš·αšΊ α›αšΊα›– α›αšΊα›Ÿαš’α›‹αš¨αšΎα›žα›‹ α›Ÿαš  α›¦α›–αš¨αš±α›‹ α›αšΊα›– α›‹α›Ÿαš’α›š α›šα›Ÿα›Ÿαš΄α›–α›ž αš α›Ÿαš± ᚨ α›‹α›Ÿα›šαš’α›α›α›ŸαšΎ, ᛁᛏ αšΊαš¨α›ˆα›ˆα›–αšΎα›–α›ž α›α›Ÿ α›αšΊα›–α›αš± α›‹α›ˆα›–αš²α›α›–α›‹, αš¨αšΎα›ž ᛁᛏ αšΉα›α›šα›š αšΊαš¨α›ˆα›ˆα›–αšΎ α›α›Ÿ α›–αš‘α›–αš±α›¦ αšΊαš’α›—αš¨αšΎ αš²α›αš‘α›α›šα›α›‰αš¨α›α›α›ŸαšΎ α›αšΊαš¨α› αš±α›α›‹α›–α›‹ αš¨αš α›α›–αš±. #dsbm #conceptalbum #shoegaze #blackgaze #newmusic by @wounded.masquerade

NEW MERCH DROP there is now an official limited edition merch bundle for 'hold our spirits in your hands', which includes the usual b&w shirt, but also a fully colored one as well as a bracelet. the b&w shirt will remain in the store even after the other parts of the bundle run out, but when those sell out they'll be gone forever (or for a good chunk of time) so if you're interested in this or any other of my shirts/the one hoodie i made then i'd appreciate if you check out the merch website thank you https://woundedmasquerade.com/ #dsbm #shoegaze #newalbum #merch by @wounded.masquerade

'HOLD OUR SPIRITS IN YOUR HANDS' - OUT NOW hi, i'm very happy to get to finally announce the official release of my new album, 'hold our spirits in your hands'. as said in the first announcement, this is a story album about sacrifice, illusions of salvation, and cyclical self-destruction. to me, this album is the best i've done due to all the little details and maybe even easter eggs that were put in every song, and of course, the story. to an extent i know this album won't be everyone's thing but i do rly hope you guys can enjoy it. there's definitely art that completes the vision for this album, and none of it would've been possible without the amazing artists @heartsofulloflovee for the art of the album cover, and @fishy.ix for the artwork in the visualizers for tracks 2, 6, 7, 9, and 10 TRACKLIST: 1. oh, what we could’ve been… 2. brush my dreams with comet dust 3. past this dying world 4. anima unmoored 5. weightless in the mouth of the cosmos 6. a grave beyond time 7. starless throat 8. flower crushed by a fist 9. hold our spirits in your hands 10. everlasting frequencies of a lost soul SYNOPSIS: n a future where humanity has hollowed itself out, and is now socially fractured, emotionally numb, and environmentally ruined, one person becomes convinced that humanity lost the spark that made it human. ever since childhood, they have felt watched or guided by something beyond human understanding. as the world and its people keep deteriorating, this belief turns into certainty that, somewhere in the universe, higher beings capable of enlightening them on what humanity did wrong and how it can be saved exist. driven by this conviction, they begin to believe that leaving is a sacrifice that has to be made. if the answers cannot be found on earth, they must be beyond it. the cost of this journey is absolute, the body is left behind so what remains, the soul, can travel where flesh never could. #dsbm #blackgaze #depressive #shoegaze #newmusic by @wounded.masquerade
