Monticulo

This action was filmed at the Sumpul river near the las Aradas site where one of the civil war massacres took place causing around 600 victims. By taking rocks from the Salvadoran side to the Honduran side over the river that marks the border we follow a small portion of the victims path. Hauling rocks to the other side one by one, a “monticulo” is formed, a symbolic resting place for those who never received proper burial
