…And just like that, WWBE Cohort 2 comes to a close! From the first introductions to the final celebrations, what a remarkable experience it has been!

Our closing ceremony was a beautiful moment to celebrate the women, the progress, and the possibilities ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to our Founder, @subomisofowora , our Keynote Speaker, @drmariammasha , SSA to the President of Nigeria on Regional Development Programmes; our Board of Trustees led by our Chair, @hakeemsubair ,our delectable host @oluwaseunr.olusegun facilitators, judges, team members, and most importantly, our participants for making WWBE 2.0 what it was. Your contributions made this experience meaningful!

A girl’s future should be hers to choose. 💜

Every girl deserves the freedom to learn, grow, dream, and make decisions about her own life. Yet, child marriage continues to rob millions of girls of their childhood, education, and opportunities to shape their futures.

This International Day of the Girl Child 2026, we join the call to “End child marriage and invest in girls’ rights.”

Ending child marriage requires more than awareness. It calls for sustained investment in girls’ education, stronger protection systems, supportive communities, and laws that safeguard their rights.

Girls deserve to be children before they are expected to be adults. They deserve opportunities to discover their potential, voices that are heard, and futures that are not decided for them.

At Woven Impact Network, we believe every girl deserves the chance to become all she can be. Let’s protect her rights, invest in her potential, and give her the freedom to shape her future.

What a conversation!
