Friendship is a quiet kind of magic that turns ordinary moments into lifelong memories.

Finch was the perfect place for my longtime friends and me to indulge—every detail felt special, from the artsy atmosphere to the refined cuisine that blended comfort with elegance.

We even planned a weekend getaway to Santa Barbara and Solvang in the coming months! Talk about a productive breakfast. 🍳

Many blessings to my sister, who just turned 45 years young! We recently celebrated at Paik’s Noodle and HIVE Karaoke Korean Bar, singing our hearts out. “PTA Presents Spring Festival Rooted in Creativity!” 🎨🎭

Students explored imaginative displays created by their peers and enjoyed lively, upbeat performances that filled the event with energy and joy. Our very first Student Makers Market was a wonderful success, giving students the exciting opportunity to purchase one another’s artwork and creative treasures—celebrating talent, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.

With the support of @homedepot, families joined in on the fun—hammer and paintbrush in hand—building innovative projects and making lasting memories together.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTA, our dedicated school staff, our talented students, and our supportive community. Your encouragement, creativity, and teamwork made this event truly special.

🍀Feeling lucky? The St. Paddy’s Mint Shake at @burgerbench is basically a pot of gold in a cup.

Dive into creamy mint chocolate chip ice cream swirled with rich chocolate sauce, topped with fluffy whipped cream, a mint Oreo, and a shower of festive green sprinkles.

And while you’re sipping on liquid gold, don’t forget to indulge in some seriously yummy bites, too. This amazing family-owned spot is known for craft burgers made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Better grab one quick…before a leprechaun beats you to it. 🌈

Business or pleasure? If you’re looking for an intimate farm-to-table hideaway that elevates health-conscious dining, escape to @luckybolt. Founder Kris Schlesser and creative chef and butcher Jesse are on a mission to strengthen San Diego’s food system by building a community that proudly supports our treasured local farmers. 🌿✨

San Diego County leads the nation in small farms, yet many locals don’t know the incredible food grown here. Luckybolt bridges that gap—partnering directly with farmers and artisans to bring responsibly grown, transparent, and truly local ingredients to your table.

With pleasure, my sisters and I explored Luckybolt’s legendary Mezze menu—and WOW, it felt like an out-of-body culinary experience. “Enranched” tahini, crunchies, chickpeas, smoked paprika, herbs, grains, nuts, barberries, pomegranate, eggplant, EVOO, dried fruit, verjus babagadeesh, house-marinated olives, and warm, freshly baked pita were just a few of the sinfully delicious elements.

We also savored selections from the à la carte menu—medjool dates, labneh, caramelized onion, mint, saffron, and more. A special nod to the unforgettable Meatball & Marrow: a spicy meatball with tagine and richly basted bone marrow. Absolutely divine.

Whether dining solo or sharing a communal table, you’ll feel the love, creativity, and magic in every dish at Luckybolt. Chef Jesse is a true culinary wizard, crafting flavors that are nothing short of extraordinary, while Kris delivers a thoughtful, memorable experience with passion, authenticity, and impeccable attention to detail. This was a first for us—the restaurant’s owner personally serving each dish with charisma and charm. It felt incredibly personal and set the tone for an unforgettable evening shared with my family. ✨🍽️

With love, light, and deep gratitude,
Tina-Marie
