| 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚒𝚙𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝 | Been working through some anger, rage, resentment. Both with myself and the state of the country. But I think sometimes the rage is necessary. But processing it is key, otherwise you’ll weigh yourself down.

(On a fun note, getting angry at the gym helps me lift more weight 😉)

Kept this piece a little more simple to have a stronger affect 🩶

Happy 20th anniversary @panslabyrinth20 ✨💕 This piece is so special to me for 2 reasons:

🔸1 is my absolute adoration for the movie. I watched it for the first when I was about 8 years old at home and instantly loved it (while slightly terrified lol). I recently watched it for the first time in theaters for a 3D and 4k release! It felt like I was experiencing magic. The director @gdtreal shares a passion of mine of combining darkness with beauty
🔸2 is this past year, or dare I even say 2 years, creating art has been a struggle. As you all know, I’ve been dealing with mental health issues and navigating medication that dulls my soul. This is the first piece in a long time where everything clicked. I felt Meraki truly taking place and thoroughly enjoyed creating this. I felt my spark 🥹

Don’t hesitate if you were thinking about tickets to see Pan’s Labyrinth in theaters! 🎭

| 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 | 𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙍𝘼𝙒 𝙫𝙨 2024 🪷 Wow, I didn’t have much expectations redrawing this and I’m really happy how it turned out 💕 1st actual art piece I’ve made in a while!

This piece shows the safety and comfort of certain familiar places like the shower. Sometimes I do what I call “plant time” and sit on the tub floor under the “rain”. Other times I will lay in the tub with no water running and just relax. Anxiety/depression can be a struggle, but we can find ways to work with it 😉

Happy fall you guys! 🩶🍂🍄‍🟫🌙 Not much art made lately but had some fun sketching today 🤍 It’s so cool that when there are times it’s difficult to make art, I can still be an observer of others creations ✨ Taking it easy and practicing gratitude while dealing with yet again some personal struggles in life 🪷

Hoa hoa hoa season is upon us 🍁 — maybe, because the forecast says all the next week is almost 100 degrees F. But I digress. Posting one of my favs from last year! I’ve taken a bit of a break from making post-able art for now, my mind is not connecting to the canvas. But my mind is connecting to creating in a different way right now: writing! I started a semi-secret project of writing a novel 🥰 This is gonna be a long but fun journey 🤍
