To all our Grenadiers, I stand with you. Thank you for representing Haiti with pride, courage, and dignity. šŸ‡šŸ‡¹
As Haitians, we respect our neighboring countries and their people, and we believe that respect must be mutual. History matters! Knowledge is power!
We will not apologize for telling the truth about the history of Saint-Domingue! Yes, #Haiti and the #DominicanRepublic share one island: first known as Ayiti/Quisqueya, then Hispaniola under Spanish rule, later renamed Saint-Domingue under French rule, and finally reclaiming its native name, Haiti, after the War of Independence.
As a historical fact, the decisive battle that Fred the entire island from France was the Battle of Vertières, leading directly to the Declaration of Independence on January 1, 1804. Did I miss anything?
Keep representing Haiti with pride, Grenadiers. We are right behind you! šŸ‡šŸ‡¹#

Rhode Island, let’s make sure we vote for Dan McKee to lead our great state for the next four years!

Governor McKee has served his people with grace, dedication, and dignity. I urge all Haitians living in Rhode Island who are eligible to vote to cast their vote for Governor Dan McKee.

He has always stood with us—in good times and in difficult times. Let’s make sure we stand with him at the ballot box! Governor Dan McKee

Migrants and refugees are not pawns on the chessboard of humanity. They are children, women, and men who leave or who are forced to leave their homes for various reasons, ā€œ Pope Francis.

Here’s a polished version that keeps your strong, direct tone while improving grammar, clarity, and flow:

America needs to wake up. Immigrants help build this country. The president’s wife is an immigrant, and the vice president’s wife is the daughter of immigrants. Stop this hypocrisy.

It’s time to call on President Trump to uphold the laws of this country and keep his promise to lower the cost of living. Go after criminals—not law-abiding citizens and immigrant families who have been working, contributing, and helping make this country great.

America is stronger because of the contributions of immigrants. It’s time to recognize that and treat people with fairness, dignity, and respect. by @wpierre2013

Yesterday was a historic moment for the Haitian community in Massachusetts. The Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center officially released the first-ever Oral History documentary, telling the stories of the great women and men who helped build and shape our community over the past several decades.

We thank everyone, including our public institutions and community partners, who helped make this important project possible. To our interviewees and interviewers, words are not enough to express our deepest gratitude for your invaluable and historic contributions to this project. You have helped preserve stories that might otherwise be lost and created a lasting legacy for generations to come.

This project will serve as an archive and an important historical resource for generations of Haitians living in the United States. We look forward to sharing this project with you through various digital platforms so that these stories can reach an even wider audience.

Let us continue to build our community by telling our story as it is, preserving our history, and helping our youth make informed decisions as they work to build a more resilient, prosperous, and united community. May these stories also inspire future generations to reconnect with and contribute to our motherland, helping Haiti reclaim its place as the Perle des Antilles, as it was proudly called back in the day.

Our history is our legacy. Our stories matter. And when we preserve them, we empower future generations to carry our community forward.

Thank you to everyone who made this historic project possible. šŸ‡šŸ‡¹ @tlccmass by @wpierre2013
