𝐊𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩2025-26 is the year that changed this program forever. Here is our recap! We faced many setbacks and experienced loss, but we responded together with resilience. We had two NAIA all-academic teams with our men leading the school, conference, and state of Iowa with the highest cumulative GPA. The men’s team also had the fourth highest GPA in the nation with a 3.63. A testament to our goal to develop leaders on and off the course/track. We saw PR’s, top 10 performances and school records all year long. During cross country season, we had a men’s and women’s national qualifier at the same championship meet for the first time since 2003. We broke school records in men’s total team time (2:09.03) and top 5 average for 8k (25:48). Three guys also entered the top 10 all-time in the 6k and 8k. We also broke school records in women’s total team time (1:55:44) and top 5 average for 6k (24:44). Three ladies also entered the top 10 all-time in the 6k, with a freshman breaking a 20 year old school record. During track season, we saw more school records broken and re-broken, lifetime bests, all-conference performances, conference champions, and an All-American in the 3000 meter steeplechase in back to back years. Most importantly, we saw young men and women becoming the best versions of themself here at WPU. We saw leaders rise up and lives changed. We saw a team Bible study expand into a campus wide group with athletes representing multiple programs. We saw a team show up for each other to build a culture defined by our commitment, our character, and our consistency. I am incredibly excited to announce that I am continuing both my academic and athletic career at the University of William Penn! I simply would not be here without my friends, teammates, coaches, and Jesus! He is so good! Everything is possible through Christ!Thank you to everyone who has pushed me and supported me to where I am at now! I would not be here without the love and support!
