Happy 14th birthday to my not so baby girl! Elizabeth, you are the perfect youngest daughter of our family! Lookout world, here she comes! I’m so proud of Mary Frances for setting goals and achieving them! Meanwhile as her mom, I’ve had a dull headache for 3 days preparing to leave her in Tallahassee. She is ready and excited to become a part of the Seminole community, but she will be sorely missed here in Texas! Florida has always been a special place for our family to retreat to over the years, and now we have the best reason ever to continue to visit! FSU is getting the best! If you give a senior a celebration, they’re going to show up! The month of May has been filled with all things graduation! We are so proud of Mary Frances and all of her hard-working senior friends going off to explore the next best thing! From graduation brunches, to senior banquets, to Prom, and beach weekends, Senior Sunset, Senior Car parade, elementary school Senior walkout, and finally the big day of graduation! We truly cannot put into words how incredibly happy we are for Mary Frances and her commitment to dance at Florida State University. My heart is overflowing with joy as I think about how hard she has worked and how special this moment is for her. The road to this point was filled with challenges, early mornings, late nights, setbacks, and triumphs. Her faith in God’s plan was steady through it all. I am in awe of her trust in Him during this process. Her perseverance, her grit, her courage to chase things that are not easy, make me so proud of who she is becoming. I am so grateful for the 15 years she has had at Memorial Dance Center, where she has developed not only as a dancer, but also learned to embrace her own potential and growth in a positive community of friends. The last four years as a member of the Stratford Spartanaires has given her the opportunity to learn from incredible educators in dance, gaining boundless leadership skills and provided such joy in dance representing Stratford High School. In the argument of studio vs high school dance, we are firmly on the side of BOTH! She is a better dancer and leader because of her journey, and we are so proud of her accomplishments! Always remember to lean into your Faith, choose joy in dance, and set your sights high, I know you will thrive! She has visited almost 10 different countries in her time abroad. Patrick and I had the great pleasure of visiting her in her new home city and getting to experience her wonderful perspective on Copenhagen and traveling the world. It is such a gift to see your children grow in confidence, take on challenges, and teach you a thing or two along the way! Ella was our own private guide for 3 days in this city of blue skies, boats and waterways, smiling people on bikes, and beautiful food! She lives modestly in her danish apartment, travels extensively with great friends, and studies engineering among many of the world’s most innovative engineering minds. She will return to the University of Texas this summer with new ideas and a worldview mindset that cannot be replicated any other way.It was so good to see her in her element. ❤️🇩🇰 taken in Copenhagen,Demark by @wquickmc

Her Last Dance with the Stratford Spartanaires! A bittersweet moment as this organization has given her so much growth and opportunity to serve, and find a community of dancers that love dance as much as she does! Thank you @spartieparty for loving her and supporting her for four years of high school!
