First tuna trip on my boat. It was really snotty out, huge flop in the weather report. But we stuck it out. Trolling inshore then out by the mud hole. Probably saw four good tuna marks all day but that was it. No takers. Just some gator blues that will crab bait.

Not saying I'm hooked but I enjoyed it. Brendan brought a really nice 7 rod spread with Maikaira 16w, Penn Int 30w and 50w on Bogan custom rods. Nice tackle and gear. We were ready for sure! by @wrecked_decision

Couple hours yesterday before the wind kicked up. So many short fluke. Really struggling with finding keepers. But non stop short action is still better than nothing.

Check out the double jumbo seabass dad got on one drop. We thought it was a doormat fluke at first!

Gave sharking a shot but not a single taker. Had three buckets of chum even at one point. Oh well, at least the spread looked good.

Stopped on the way in for fluking and had some fun with short life by @wrecked_decision

Love seeing this. Da dum.....

Broke the inlet and it was a lake but turned quickly as we went north. Despite the blow, we had a really good short fluke life bite. Only had one keeper but with 20+ gust, I'll take it. Nice quick run out by @wrecked_decision

Father's Day fishing with the kids. That's the best gift.

They did great. Very tough bite but seas were beautiful and the kids did great. It was only Troy's second time out and he rocked it. Little steps at a time, keeping it fun.

Pretty good Sunday fishing. Welcomed Lloyd aboard, fellow jujitsu dad I met. Started off flat dead. Horrible. Moved around a bunch and finally found a few spots. Had to work for them but we had a nice mixed bag. Ron with a 19" fluke and jumbo seabass. Lloyd with a nice big ling and Jack and I with some sea bass. Then the wind really kicked up and it was time to head in.

Not the best bite but we did ok. Dad had a nice blackfish (throw back and out of season), couple nice size Seabass, couple short fluke. But more importantly, our first keeper fluke of the season!!
