DC!!!!! You all made the absolutely MOST noise and the love in the room was UNMATCHABLE!!!

There are so many moments that I had with so many other people in this room… Hard times, worst times, great times. Many of you seen me struggle, or get lost in someone else’s opinion…. Yall seen me fight and claw my way back to who I really am.

And now you see the difference the team I’m surrounded by. The voice that I gained back, the growth in everything that makes me.. me!!!

all the artists that came I saw the same thing, they’ve struggle, they’ve had times of growing pains, times where the city didn’t believe in them. And we came together to fucking kill it. I love each and every one of you. Let’s keep coming to greatness together.

Twenty years ago I made an album on a 2004 PowerBook G4 because I was obsessed with literature, emo and oversharing. Now we’re celebrating two decades of nerd rap, awkward sincerity, and songs about English class at @theottobar!

MC LARS - 20 YEAR “GRADUATE” ANNIVERSARY SHOW with:

The Flying Faders (@theflyingfaders), Garbage Masher (@garbagemasher)
, Steel Samurai (@steelsamuraiband), CreateLadyJ (@createladyj) from Wreck the System (@wreckthesystem)!

Wednesday, May 20, 7 PM Doors, All Ages

Tickets: nerdcoretour.com

Come scream every word like it’s still 2006 and your Top 8 choices had emotional consequences. taken in Ottobar by @wreckthesystem

Around 10 years ago in a studio far, far away, my crew @wreckthesystem dropped this classic collab that would spark many more bangers to come. Throne is still one of my favorite tracks to perform to this day, and I hoped I did right by John Williams' legendary score when I laced this beat!!
