🎙️✨ DOUBLE DIGITS, BABY! ✨🎙️

TEN. WHOLE. AUDIOBOOKS.

Somewhere between the late nights in the booth, the countless hours of editing, the characters who've made me laugh, cry, blush, and question my sanity... I hit a milestone that feels pretty surreal.

My 10th audiobook! 🥹

Every single story has taught me something. Every author who has trusted me to bring their words to life has given me an opportunity I'll never take for granted.

To the authors, fellow narrators, listeners, and friends who've cheered me on along the way, THANK YOU. 🖤

Here's to ten books, hundreds of characters, and all the beautifully chaotic stories still waiting to be told.

We're just getting started. 🎧🔥

Blackshore, meet your voices🎙️🏴‍☠️

@wrenlockleyvo brought the entire cast of The Legend of Blackshore to life. Now @vo_joshleo is joining the crew for Books 2 and 3, voicing the guys while Wren voices Autumn and the female characters.

Duet narration. Childhood friendships that carry into adulthood. First love, new love, and a ghost pirate who really needs to learn when to leave people alone 😂

🎧 The Legend of Blackshore: available now, narrated entirely by Wren.
🎧 The Rising of Blackshore: duet audiobook expected late 2026.
🎧 The Curse of Blackshore: duet audiobook release date TBA.

Help me welcome Wren and Josh to Blackshore! 🖤

⁉️What would pull you in first to this story: the childhood friend group reunited as adults, or the ghost pirate who won’t let them go? 👀🏴‍☠️⁉️

Let's play a little game of 2 Truths and a Lie! 👀✨

Think you know me? Or are you about to learn something completely unexpected?

I'm sharing three things about myself. Two are totally true, and one is a big, fat LIE.

Drop your guess in the comments! 👇 I can't wait to see who can spot the fake!

And while you're at it, tell me something fun about YOU! 🖤

[If you already know the answer, no spoilers! 🤫]

I'm here to finally tell the truth. Narrators create so many fictional personalities and characters that sometimes people forget there are real people behind the microphone.

There's a phenomenon in this industry called "the quiet middle". It's the part where we aren't auditioning for anything because our books are full. No messages are coming from authors or rosters. We aren't seeing initial launch hype reviews flooding in. Things are just... Quiet.

In these moments, sometimes narrators (including your favorites) start to question if we're still doing well, still growing, still moving the needle on our careers.

So if you have a favorite audiobook narrator, or you've hired someone recently to help bring your story to life, drop them a line. Let them know that, even in the quiet part, you appreciate what they are putting into the world with their voice.

I promise, you'll fast become our favorite too. 😉😘

I’m incredibly proud to share that I’ve officially joined the narrator roster at Aftersight. 🎙️🖤

Aftersight provides accessible print materials for people who are blind or low vision community, and I’ll be volunteering my time and voice to help make that work possible.

I spend a lot of hours in this booth bringing stories to life, meeting characters, and building a career that I love. But some of the most worthwhile work that happens behind this microphone is the work I'm not getting paid for.

There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to take a skill I’ve worked so hard to develop and use it to make information, stories, and the written word more accessible to someone else.

I’m very, very proud to add this one to my to-do. ❤️🎙️ by @wrenlockleyvo

So you want to kidnap an audiobook narrator… 🎙️🚐

Good news: it’s actually alarmingly easy.

No chloroform. No elaborate schemes. No suspicious candy.
You just need to know the right things to say.

Authors, please use this information responsibly.
Narrators… stay vigilant out there. 🫡

And yes, I would absolutely get in the van for at least half of these.

For legal purposes: please do not actually kidnap your narrator. We have deadlines.
