I've been enjoying my break. I want to come back to support everyone again but I'm still going to take it easy with my art stuff. I'm trying to study right now so....I ain't got no value to give 😗. Sowwey. I'll put little updates like this every now and then but I'm taking the pressure to create off. I just want to lay low for a bit.

FINALLY!!!
I'm done🤧😮‍💨
This is my entry for @chrisonaltf4 DTIYS.
I was going to add flames coming out of his glasses but when it came down to coloring I was like....yeah no.😅. I don't have time to be learning how to color fire!😤 Not yet. But imagine it dude 😳.

Anyways, this was the last thing I wanted to do before taking my break. I'll be focusing on my OC stuff in the background and trying to take care of myself. I wrote more on this on one of the slides so check that out if you want. Until we meet again 🫶

Not final designs yet... But they've come such a long way, huh? My core 5🥹. I love them. I just have to keep working on the story 😫😵‍💫. When taking my break, that's what I'll be doing.

⭐Starboy ~ his core emotion is fear. He's simple and gentle but direct and the healer of the group. He has a lot to carry on his shoulders and knows Chicken too! He likes to joke at his own expense to lighten the mood, always there to support but never there to accept it when offered.

🗡️Peter ~ his core emotion is anger. He can't stay still. He's Aiden's bodyguard and ex-gladiator with an OC past 😏. He's narrowed minded and haunted by what once was. This can make him unhinged when pushed too far and it scares me sometimes because he's supposed to be a good guy. There's nothing he won't do to get exactly what he wants.

🪹Aiden ~ Aiden's core emotion is shame which comes from his lack of growth. He's the (useless) vampire prince, always needing protection and never getting involved in important matters. He's not allowed to...He loves animals, tho! (Chickens especially). Meeting Chicken was a good day.

🐥Chicken ~ His core emotion is joy. They don't talk, they chirp. They appeared one day in the castle to find Aiden specifically. They're protective, peckish (literally lol), and very strong. They have powers that need recharging so when tired they rest in one of Aiden's pockets.

🖤Nadia ~ I'm still working on a better name for her but her core emotion is sadness. She's Aiden's older sister and hates the fact she's a vampire. She regulates her emotions through various creative outlets, and getting high off special flowers from my world. Maintaining a manicured appearance is a ritualistic routine for her that grounds her. She's snappy, knowledgeable, and protective of her brother.

I recorded this speed paint time lapse but I experimented with the canvas size to make it super tall. I can't fit it fully here on Instagram...oh well.

Design wise....these characters still need refinement. I'll revisit them after combing through my other OCs but what do you think so far? I'm looking for constructive feedback so let me know what works and what doesn't work 👀. by @wretched.mi

I'm almost done with ArtFight. 2 more drawings. There's a couple I'll throw in maybe but they'll be doodles I think. Almost there!! 😮‍💨

The last two drawings are non ArtFight related. Just old drawings I found on my phone that I never showed so....why not put em in, I thought. by @wretched.mi

But you guys, I still need like....8 more? I'm going to knock them out but I'm thinking about taking a break afterwards. Maybe for like a month. But we'll see. I need to go back to working on my story dude. by @wretched.mi

I've been rushing past my sketches to color but I've noticed stuff that later annoys me once all is said and done so I spent more time on the sketching and lineart but .....that took a lot out of me.🫠 And I still have, at least, 4 more drawings to do before July ends so I slapped some color and said "let's keep going". by @wretched.mi

I'm honestly amazed how fast I made these. These all took 4-5 hours (mas o menos). On paper then finished using my finger on my iPad🫪. I was just really feeling the color purple, dude. I don't know why.

Yellow and purple, are obviously really good. But then with red? ...and then with green?...bro...🫪

Another ArtFight defense☝️. I've been wanting to draw my OCs 😁😅 (I miss them) and I saw NyanBear was okay with OC interactions so here's Aiden hanging out with their OCs. My head canon is that he imagined them so they could play together.

I still haven't gotten the chance to use the color pencils but ...soon. Soon. by @wretched.mi
