I’m back… 😂

Not because I was being quiet or mysterious… my immune system just decided to run a full test drive of 2026.

Since January I’ve collected:
Allergies → sinus issues → bronchitis → pneumonia
Basically the deluxe sampler platter 🙃

At this point I feel like I should have a punch card… “one more illness and the next one is free” — hard pass.

Anyway… I survived the tour and have rejoined the land of the living.

What did I miss while I was out here collecting diagnoses like loyalty points? 😅 by @wright_sideof_life

Benchmark Testing Day

I wasn’t stressed… I was hall-monitoring.
Got my steps in, checked bathrooms 47 times, stared at walls like it was my job (because it was).
Pretty sure my smart watch thinks I trained for a 5K today. 🏃‍♀️😂 by @wright_sideof_life

Didn’t get the W today, but I’m still proud of the Red Raiders! ❤️🖤 The pups showed up in full gear, watched part of the game, barked at the TV once (clearly the ref’s fault), and declared it a successful day.

Going through my mom’s old recipes and found these baking tips she saved.
Apparently I’ve been channeling her every time I say, “Read the directions first.”

If only they would read the directions there would be more cookies and fewer hockey pucks🤣🤣🤣 by @wright_sideof_life

Today was one of those why I teach days…..

I have a student who really struggles in class, but today I taught him how to cross stitch and told him it helps me relax. He was instantly focused and calm.

Later, he came back to show me what he made, thanked me, and said it was relaxing — and that he made it for his mom.
