Before I became a trichologist and holistic health practitioner, I spent years behind the chair as an award winning Loctican and cosmetologist. I saw so many people struggling with thinning hair, scalp irritation, and excessive shedding. Most of the time, they thought something was wrong with their hair, but the real issue was their scalp.

As I continued my education, I learned that inflammation, buildup, stress, and even diet can disrupt the scalp’s natural balance. I knew I wanted to create something that didn’t just mask the problem but supported the health of the scalp itself.

That’s what inspired my scalp tonic.

I’ve seen clients experience relief from itching, less buildup, and healthier hair growth once their scalp environment is restored. For me, this isn’t just about hair—it’s about helping people feel confident and understand that true hair health starts at the root.

i also had the privilege of being from a holistic, hoodoo coded family from Ruleville Mississippi within the Delta. everytime i stand at that stove or touch an herb i feel a familiar spirit in my home with positive energy. one night in postpartum, my late great-grandmother that i never met, visited me and told me it was time to spread my gift and so i did. i haven’t been sad every since and every bit of stress is worth the gift.

Being an expert at my craft doesn’t turn my brain off from learning. I’m forever a student. I love learning from my peers and my students. The most rewarding is learning from my mistakes and teaching others about my experiences. I will never stop learning no matter how much of an expert I become.. in my field we have continued education for a reason we are forever evolving.
