Replacement diashock spring for the 7s26, 20p for scale.

If you're wondering what happened to the original spring, SO AM I! My best guess is that it's currently heading towards the kuiper belt at near relativistic speeds. by @wristwatchworkshop

That's the 7s26 stripped for cleaning and re-lubrication. You might look at that and think it's a bewildered mass of parts (and I do too), but what strikes me is how few and how simple the mechanism is that can measure the passing of time, days and months. Incredible stuff.
The next step for these parts is a bath in some Essence of Renata in an ultrasonic cleaner. by @wristwatchworkshop

Why , yes. That IS a shiny new crystal fitted to the Seiko 5 7s26 I imported from Japan. Now, I am not keen on crystal work, but I followed @myretrowatches guide, and had no problems (so go drop Mike a follow there).

The 7s26 is another gift, and the recipient will be in Manchester in October (yes, that's a clue). With the case work done and the new strap sorted, its full speed ahead with the movement service. I'm optimistic it only needs a clean and lubrication to fix the low amplitude, but I do have a new barrel and mainspring on standby. by @wristwatchworkshop

Next month a good friend is getting married. She's completely uninterested in watches, and her fiance only wears an Apple wearable. However, the topic of wedding gifts came up, and it transpired he liked the idea of a watch for the occasion. My friend gave me a budget and some aesthetic requirements and asked me to source.

I found this beautiful little 70s Tissot Stylist which needed very little work to get looking great and running well. I've paired it with this lovely honey tan strap, and added a gold plated buckle to match the gold plate of the case.
I've refused payment. This is my gift to the pair of them, and I'm excited to see them hitched. by @wristwatchworkshop

@fearswatches Brunswick perpetual calendar release! You don't know how hard it has been sitting on these pics of one of the unfinished pre-production models of the new addition to the Brunswick lineup.
I got hands on when I went down to visit Clifton a couple of weeks ago, and was blown away. Bearing in mind this isn't the finished article, it still packed an aesthetic wallop. The beautiful symmetry of the dial, how it sits in the refined case and that gold rotor! This is the real deal. This is the first perpetual calendar (with a Dubois Depraz module) from Fears and imho they knocked it out of the park.
Bear in mind, these lics aren't of the finished article, but to my mind, this marks a new stage for Fears. They're at the main table, and they came to play. by @wristwatchworkshop

Some more @fearswatches content! When I was down in Clifton for the Ultimus event, the @fearsbristolboutique staff were kind enough to let me get hands on with the Fears x Garrick. Definitely on my lottery win list. by @wristwatchworkshop

More @fearswatches Ultimus content! If we've spoken about the Fears Brunswick case before, you will have heard me rave about just how good it is. Here we have @nicholasbowmanscargill 's own Brunswick jump hour, the first iteration of that module in that case (and how good is that burgundy??) and the Ultimus, the final expression of that combo, the Ultimus. You won't have much more of an opportunity to pick up the Ultimus, so hit @fearswatches before the order window closes! by @wristwatchworkshop

I was a *very* lucky boy yesterday. I travelled down from Manchester to the @fearsbristolboutique in the Clifton Arcade in Bristol to see this. This is the "Ultimus", a collaboration between @andrew_morgan_watches and @fearswatches , and marks the final iteration of Fears' jump hour.
I have to say that in the metal, it's very different from the press shots you see. The dial is much more layered (beyond what you'd expect from the sapphire disc construction) giving it a retrofuturistic feel, as the discs shift through variations of monochrome. It truly comes alive in the full lume shots too! More pics to come!
The order window for the Ultimus closes tomorrow, I believe, so don't hesitate to grab this! by @wristwatchworkshop
