5:30pm: Chuan Tian Xia, 5502 7th Ave.
This Michelin Bib Gourmand spot is the perfect place to grab dinner before the show! With insanely incredible Sechuan food in funky, cool digs, you cannot go wrong with Chuan Tian Xia. The NYTimes also gave this place a critic's pick - need I say more??

7:00pm: Write Club Summer Playfest, Target Margin Theater, 232 52nd St.
Then head over to Target Margin Theater for Write Club's 2nd annual short play festival, giving emerging NYC-based playwrights and directors the resources, venue, and support to bring fully staged short plays to a live audience. Each performance features all five plays, so you're bound to see something amazing!

9:00pm: Sunset Stoop, 4114 5th Ave.
After the show, grab drinks at Sunset Stoop, a local watering hole with live music, cold beers, and delicious cocktails. You can't go wrong!

(Write Club's 2nd Annual Summer Playfest runs from 8/28-8/30 - there are four performances only and the first night is SOLD OUT, so get your tickets now before they're gone!) taken in Sunset Park, Brooklyn by @writeclubnyc
