Mass tourism comes with mass destruction and that is not what our island nor future generations need.

A road trip to Banda Abou today left my heart crying 💔
From mud slides caused by deforestation for vacation rentals, to masses of tourists disturbing our sea turtles, to mass hotels blocking the view of locals and destroying a whole beach with their monstrosity, to destroyed coral reefs by those same developers trying to create more land on the sea, to small local beaches being crushed by concrete and beach chairs. When is enough finally enough? 😩 taken in Curaçao by @writeonmailbox

Dushi dushi Kòrsou!
It's been a minute (or two), but guess what?!
We're souper happy to announce that on the first Saturday of November, we've got another one of those 'bou di Palu experiences' brewing for you!

Back by popular demand are our two soup souperstars:
🥦 One for the veggies &
🥩 One for the carnivores.

👌🏾 And of course, we must include Ness' mom's legendary freshly baked homemade carrot cake!

>>>| What makes The Souper Comback extra special? |<<<
We are adding a different kind of live art & a Mic less open mic to our ‘bou di Palu experience. Everybody is welcome!
It's going to be a feast for your eyes and senses.

Entry fee: YOUR SMILE 🙂

Stay tuned for the details!

|★| Inspired by
the words of Erykah #Badu (yes I'm a fan!), whose quote -'Keep in mind that I'm an artist, and I'm sensitive about my shit'- resonates deeply.

My piece aims to highlight the difficulties faced by creative individuals on our island when their art is abused, copied, or used without their consent.

🇨🇼 Link in bio to my latest #article in #papiamentu & #dutch about using art without permission in public places on Curaçao.
